课标要求及本节课在大单元中的地位 本单元的主题是介绍自己的家庭。课标要求学生能听懂有关家庭介绍的简短对话，辨认对话中的人物关系；能用指示代词介绍自己的家庭，询问他人家庭的情况；培养学生对家庭的热爱和对家庭成员的关心。 本课从谈论一张全家福开始，介绍了表示家庭成员的单词；对话内容围绕玲玲询问托尼的家庭情况展开，介绍了人物之间的关系，同时呈现了英语中询问他人家庭情况的语言：This is...These are...同时还有不同层次的听力练习，学生在真实的语境中感知目标语言的用法。
教学目标 Be able to master the key vocabulary used to talk about family (e.g.,aunt, brother, daughter, family, father, grandfather, grandmother, grandparent, mother, parent, sister, son, uncle, these, they, mum, dad, who, woman, husband, those. ) Be able to master the key structures used to talk about family（e.g., Is this… / Are these… / Who is this / Who are …） Be able to understand conversations about family members and briefly talk about one’s family. Cultivate the students’ love for family and family members and learn how to care for others.
教学重点 1.Understand conversations about family members. 2.Master pronouns ( this, that, these, those) and apostrophe (’) to show possessive of nouns.

教学过程 Period 1 Stage 1 Warming up Step 1：Play the song of "I love my family" on the screen. Let the students watch them. After enjoying the video, ask them to answer some questions. Q1: What is the song about Q2:What can you remember about the song Q3: Do you love your family Yes or No Step 2: Brainstorm words about family members. Stage 2 Pre-listening Step 1：Let the Ss look at the photo of Tony's family and know his family members (Activity 1). Step 2：Read all the new words about family members together, then ask some of them to read the words aloud. Step 3: Get some students to introduce Tony’s family members to others in class. (This is... That is... These are... Those are...) Stage 3 While-listening Task 1: Listen and check Step 1: Listen to the recording in Part 2 and check the people Tony mentions. Step 2: Check the answers. Step 3: Tell the students the listening tips. Step 4: Listen again and answer the questions below. Q1: Where are Tony’s mom’s parents Q2: Where are Tony’s dad’s parents Q3: What’s Tony’s sister’s name Where is she Step 5: Ask some students to answer the questions one by one.
