教学过程 师生活动 设计意图
Step 1 Lead-in Show some famous people's pictures and their names. 1．Find out each person's first name and last name. 2．Find out the differences between Chinese name and English name.(Guide students to answer.) 通过名人的图片导入新课，激发学生的学习兴趣。
Step 2 Pre-reading T：Look at the picture in 2a.We can see two cards here.According to the cards，please write F for first name and L for last name. Then check the answers together. 通过观察图片，让学生了解英文名字的构成。
Step 3 While- reading 阅读指导： 1) 认真分析每幅图画的不同之处，A图是两个女孩子，其中一个是中国人， B图是两个外国女人C图是两个外国男孩。 所以学生平时要注意不同种族的人的特殊的特征。如中国人黑发黑眼等。 2) 仔细阅读文字材料，提取有用的信息，与相关图片去配对。 1．Read the article first and match the pictures with the information.Then check the answers in groups. 2．Circle the first names and underline the last names.Then ask students to check the answers. 3．Each group can choose a passage to read together.Then act together.The group that reads the passage fluently and quickly will be the winner. 通过合作，让学生以团队形式完成任务，分享学习的乐趣。
Step 4 Post-reading 1.Work on 2c 1．Look at the two parts on the left in 2c.The first part is persons' names，and the second part is the phone numbers.You can use the information in 2b to match them. 2．Check the answers.Show your answers like this：Eric Brown's phone number is 357－5689. 3．Now，please finish the task on the right.(Students check the answers with their partners.Then ask students to cover 2b and use the information in 2c to make a composition.) 2.Review and retell the passage 1．Read the passage again and then finish the following table.
