优点: 整节课以“中国文化”的主题语境为依托,营造了一节对中国文化的沉浸式体验课堂。本节课为读写结合课,研读的语篇是对唐人街的介绍文本,教师将学生习作的主题也设置为本省具有文化特色的三座城市,因此这节课从读到写,学生都沉浸在丰富迷人的中国文化与家乡文化中,加深了对中国文化的理解,契合本节课“描写具有文化特色的城市”的课堂主题。 本节课落实“学习与理解→应用与实践→迁移与创新”的英语学习活动观,符合青少年学生的认知和学习规律。语篇研读部分(包括内容分析和结构分析)旨在引导学生发现写作特点和学习写作技巧,属于“学习与理解”;语言学习部分(包括写作句式、词汇积累和形容词运用)分别设计了相应的语言练习,属于“应用与实践”;学生习作与评价部分设置了同一主题下的相似话题,旨在帮助学生基于本节所学内容进行再次创作,属于“迁移与创新”。 本节课构思巧妙,以三个写作技巧为课堂暗线串联各个教学步骤,并与结尾部分的写作评价形成良好呼应。整节课中,上述第二条英语学习活动观为主线,写作技巧的总结为暗线(分别为①具有恰当的开头和结尾;②包含丰富的信息内容;③合理安排内容次序),并最终将写作技巧生成写作评价标准,环环相扣,更有利于学生写后自查与自我反馈。 缺憾: 由于课堂时长有限,而写作又是一项相对耗时的较大工程,在一个课时内完整地呈现从读到写的整个过程并非易事。本节课中,教师尽可能充分地预留了学生创作时间,但要完成一篇完整的习作仅依赖课堂时间是远远不够的。教师充分认识到这一矛盾,也预设了学生的创作结果,因此在学生习作的展现环节能够自然地接纳不完美,对已完成部分给予反馈,并带领学生共同设想如何更好地创作未完成部分,也是对本节课的巩固与应用,将缺憾转变为机会,为本节课画上了圆满的句号。
