读后续写。阅读下面的短文,根据所给情节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事。
Exercise 32
Mo had two exams that day一physics and history. She really hated physics. It was her worst subject. Terry looked at her, and then looked away quickly. Mo thought she looked guilty. She didn't have a problem with physics, she didn't have a problem with anything... Miss Perfect!
"I thought we were friends, but she hasn't spoken to me for two weeks now. She promised to help me review for the physics exam too, but then she's ignored all my calls and texts. And when I rang her house, her mum just told me she was busy," Mo thought angrily. At that moment, Mr. Reed asked all the students into the exam room.
Mo couldn't answer some physics question. Suddenly she saw Terry sitting two rows in front of her. Mo couldn't believe it! Terry was holding her phone on her knee under the table and reading from it. Is that how Terry always got such good grades She felt really angry at Terry, and thought about telling the teacher, but... “Stop writing," said Mr. Reed and started to collect the exam papers. Oh no, Mo hadn't answered two of the questions. She was going to fail again!
Mo wanted to talk to Terry at lunch time, but she couldn't find her anywhere. Mo went to the library to prepare for the history exam, which was her favorite. But she couldn't concentrate. uUnfair! Terry was getting good grades by cheating all that time." She thought about telling a teacher, but everyone would hate her if she did that. Just then, Mr. Reed walked past her table. "Mr. Reed...”
Mo was sitting behind Terry again in the history exam that afternoon. Mr. Reed wanted her to look at him and nod if she saw that Terry was cheating in the exam.

(3) 根据已知人物、事件及续写段落首句预测故事发展(development): 该故事的总体发展趋势应 该是在接下来的考试中Terry仍然会拿出手机,在Mo的暗示下Mr. Roed抓到Terry违规并取消了她的考试成绩。后来Terry主动找Mo谈心,说出了看手机以及之前爽约的原因,应该是另有隐情。知道真相之一段应是考场中的情节: Mo向Mr. Reed示意, Mr. Reed悄悄走向Terry,收起试卷,请Terry离开考场。可以在人物动作、心理活动、其他同学的反应等方面进行细节描写。续写部分第二段是两人见面谈心的场面: Terry主动找到Mo,为之前没有联系Mo而道歉,并解释自己那样做的原因;Mo听后深感内疚,两人彼此原谅,重归于好。两人明白了朋友之间应该彼此信任,坦诚相待。
(3)根据已知人物、事件及续写段落首句预测故事发展(development) : 故事总体的发展可能是父 亲在一次出海打鱼时因意外而去世,Frank也因此一直非常悔恨他拒绝了父亲表达爱的告别吻。续写 第一段: 不久,父亲出海打鱼再也没有回来。人们发现他船上的网有一半挂在外面。他一定是遇到了大风,并且在抢救渔网和船时遇到了意外。续写第二段: Frank追悔莫及。如果再有一次机会,他会亲吻父亲的脸颊感受他粗糙的脸,闻闻他身上大海的味道。如果再有一次机会,他将永远不会借口长大而拒绝父亲的吿别之吻。

"You should have told me this earlier. Let me know if you have difficulties.”

四、 提炼归纳
1 .找准线索,合理推测
读后续写的部分是思维能力的拓展,但也并不是可以天马行空、异想天开的,前文的铺垫、下划线词汇的限制和给定段落首句的暗示都是续写可以利用的线索。利用记叙文的问题特征,抓住六要素—— 时间、地点、人物、事件的起因、经过、结果,理清整个事件线索。下划线的10个词汇,往往也是关键信息的体现,如人物及关系、背景及主要事件。在获取了足够细致的线索之后,把握人物和事件,通过设问的方式去推测故事的发展趋势、人物的可能应对和心情的变化。事件发展的结果是个半开放的设计,给定的两个段落首句是事件结果的导向,忽略了两个首句就会产生远离实际的结果。
2.整理要点,建构连接
根据一系列问题的提问,将得到的大量要点进行整理,留下主要的、关键的,去除次要的、细节的,利用合理的过渡词将各个要点串联起来,使得行文流畅,逻辑清晰,结构紧凑。如承接、转折、对比、递进等 关系的词汇以及时间、地点、原因、方式、让步、伴随、目的等状语或从句的使用也可使语句之间关系清晰,衔接自然。
