教学过程
Lead-in 观察图片，从美丽的白天鹅联想到丑小鸭的故事，引出used to 结构。 T：do you know what the swan used to be It used to be an ugly duckling.He u used to be made fun of by others.He used to walk alone in snowy winter.He used to admire the beautiful swans in the sky. Until one day, he became a a beautiful swan himeself. 并感知be used to doing： He is used to flying high in the sky.He is used to people’s compliment. But he will never forget he used to be an ugly duckling. Pre-reading 引导学生根据标题对文章大意进行预测，回答问题。 T:We can look at the title “From Shy Girl to Pop Star” and the picture to predict what the passage is about. Answer the following questions: What is the passage about It’s about a girl’s changes. What was the girl like in the past She used to be shy. What does she do now She is a pop singer. While-reading 略读了解各段大意（skimming） 介绍略读技巧，让学生尝试把段落大意与段落匹配。 T:Skimming is to find the main ideas by first taking a look at the title,pictures,key words and phrases and topic sentences.Let’s try this way to match the main ideas with each paragraph. Paragraph 1- Candy’s background. Paragraph 2 - How Candy’s life has changed. Paragraph3 - Candy’s advice to young people. 细读（Careful reading） 精读每段，回答所提问题。 Paragraph 1：Complete Candy’s background.
