Unit 6 I’m going to study computer science.
Section A (1a-2d)（第一课时）
课标要求：能听懂有关谈论未来职业的语段并就其话题进行谈论。
教学目标
通过图片展示掌握词汇
grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot,
pianist, scientist, be sure about, make sure
2.通过反复的听说练习，提高听说能力，掌握谈论未来打算的句型：
What do you want to be when you grow up I want to be a basketball player.
②---How are you going to do that -- I’m going to practice basketball every day.
3.通过角色扮演，能够准确表达对未来的打算，引发学生对自己的未来和理想的思考。
教学过程
Step Ι. 导入环节
T: Hello, boys and girls! I’m a teacher. What do you do
S1:I am a student.
T:What do you want to be when you grow up
S1:I want to be a teacher.
Then ask students to practice the similar conversations with some pictures about jobs.
Step II.展示学习目标
Show students the learning goals. Students read together.
Step III.自学环节
1.自学指导(1a)
Show some pictures on the big screen. Ask students to rank the jobs (1-12).Then check answers in groups.
2.自学检测
Ask students to translate some phrases on their notebooks. Invite 2 students to write on the blackboard. Then show answers and ask them to check answers and correct errors.

Ask students to listen and fill in the blanks. Then match the items. Check answers together.

Ask students to practice the conversation in the picture. Then make conversations about the other jobs in 1a.
