教材分析 The activity theme of the section is "write to a friend about a travel plan" and consists of two texts. The first text, in the form of an email, introduces the author, Richard, a foreign student, about his travel plan to Xi 'an. The first paragraph introduces the main purpose of visiting the Terra-cotta warriors, the second paragraph introduces the other scenic spots in Xi 'an, the third paragraph introduces the means of transportation, and the fourth paragraph talks about his final thoughts. In the first text, the author uses the present continuous tense to express future plans and arrangements, including the main purpose of the trip, key sights, other scenic spots and travel arrangements. In the writing section, the textbook focuses on directing students to pay attention to the structure of emails and the language forms of expressing emotions. For example: "... it is an amazing sight, and I can't wait to go. ", "The story of the Terracotta Army is almost unbelievable.", "It's amazing that..." ", "My dad and I are both looking forward to going to... . The second text is a promotional page about the Terra-cotta Warriors in Xi 'an, which is called "one of the eight wonders of the world" and provides students with background knowledge about the trip plan. The topic of this lesson is closely related to students' life and study, and it is very practical. Students should write a concise, coherent and clear email to introduce their travel plans, which can properly integrate into the language structure to express emotions. From the perspective of text, the textbook guides students to sort out several aspects of travel plan, such as tourist destination, main intention, itinerary arrangement, transportation, time arrangement, etc., through the email in which Richard tells about his National Day travel plan. The textbook also provides a brochure about the Terra-cotta Warriors as an attachment to the email, which guides students to read some introductions about the scenic spots before departure.
学情分析 The students of Senior One are very interested in the topic of travel and have some travel experience. Students have a certain ability to acquire information and critical thinking in articles. In the first few periods of study, students learn about how to prepare for a trip, arrange activities, and describe scenic spots. However, students may find it difficult to organize and process information, and they are not very familiar with the writing structure, text features and language features of the travel plan. Students' written expression ability, grammatical tenses, organizational structure and sentence patterns are also weak.

Underline the words and phrases used to express emotion in the email. Then complete the sentences below. Skim the text and read the passage quickly , finding out the main idea and identify the structure of the text. Students master the content of the whole passage and are able to learn about the writing skills through the words and phrases used to express emotion in the email. By skimming the passage, they can grasp the main idea and build up a solid foundation for locating the detailed information. Familiarize students with analysis skills. Ss are able to write with the help of words and expressions learnt from the passage.
