教材分析 The topic of this class is "get ready to travel." The content consists of two parts. In the first part, Paul and Merlin discuss the upcoming holiday and share their holiday travel plans. In the second part, Robert Williams calls an airline to book a flight from London to Paris. The first part of the listening text consists of two conversations. In the first dialogue, Meilin tells Paul about his plans to travel to Europe with his aunt and uncle. He talks about the destination country, how to travel, and the necessary preparations for traveling abroad, such as getting a passport, applying for a visa, booking a plane ticket, renting a car, etc. In the second dialogue, Paul tells Meilin about his plan to travel to Lijiang in Yunnan Province with his parents. He talks about the reason for going there, the weather, the places he plans to visit, and the things he needs to prepare. Listen to the conversation between Robert Williams and an airline employee in the logical order of initiating the conversation -- confirming the booking information -- confirming the flight -- confirming the passenger's name -- confirming the method of payment. The conversation included Williams' departure, destination, arrival time, flight information, class of flight, transportation back and payment form. Students can choose different ways to travel and make different travel plans based on different destinations. The purpose of this part of the activities is to develop students' awareness and ability to make comprehensive consideration and systematic arrangement when making plans. This section selects different scenic spots both at home and abroad, which can not only enhance students' love of the country, but also broaden students' international vision.
学情分析 High school students just entered the high school campus, all things are full of curious, outgoing, cheerful, active thinking. Apart from some students' English performance, most students' English is at average or below average level. Some students have weak English foundation and small vocabulary. Students have a serious learning attitude and high enthusiasm. In the process of listening, they can infer their attitude and intention with the help of the situation, the speaker's intonation and key words. Have the ability of initial discourse analysis, can express their own ideas simply. The ability to describe events coherently, interpret meaning and critically evaluate is weak in English. I don't pay much attention to the input and output of listening and speaking, and my oral expression ability needs to be improved. Therefore, in the teaching process, teachers should pay attention to the cultivation of students' information integration ability, knowledge transfer ability and language expression ability.

Arouse their interest in the topic and provide basic information for them, which helps them listen to find the answers easily.
听中环节 Activity1: Listen to the tape and answer the following questions. Activity2: Listen to the second part and answer the questions. Activity3: Listen to the whole conversation again and fill in the table below. Students listen to each part of the conversations and finish the following practice. Help Ss obtain the general information of the dialogues according to the listening tips provided. Enable the students to locate the key words while listening more quickly and exactly. Provide listening strategy--listen for intonations--for students to practice and improve their listening ability. Get prepared for speaking.
听后环节 Activity 1: Work in groups. Choose a travel destination and think about what you would do to prepare to travel there. Role-play the conversation with a partner! Activity 2: Pronunciation Find out the useful expressions in the conversation. Use the phrases learnt today to talk about what you can do to help choose a travel destination and how to travel there. Listen and pronounce the words. Enable the students to think creatively based on the information learnt from the listening material. Enable to express their understanding of what you can do to help choose a travel destination and how to travel there. Students can understand the pronunciation rules of consonants and consonant combinations and better remember words with them.
作业 Review the words and expressions learnt from the passage.. Make a conclusion and invite tourists. Consolidate the knowledge and skills students have learned in this lesson.
