LESSON 11
【教学目标】
1．知识目标。
（1）能听、说、认读单词及词组：subway, post office, go straight, turn left, traffic lights, beside, take the subway, turn right.
（2）能听懂、会说句型：Can you tell me the way to the … / Go straight. / The subway is beside the post office. / Turn left at the second traffic lights.
2．能力目标。
学会问路句子，能在现实生活中运用。
3．情感态度、文化意识、学习策略。
敢于开口说英语，表达中不怕出错误。能对新学内容进行归纳和总结，且能在语境中理解中西语言表达方式上的不同之处。
【教学重点】
认读单词并学会subway, post office, go straight, turn left, traffic lights, beside, take the subway, turn right.
句型Can you tell me the way to the … / Go straight. / The subway is beside the post office. / Turn left at the second traffic lights.
【教学难点】
Straight，subway的发音。
问路及指引路况的句子表达。
【教学准备】
1．教师准备：多媒体课件、配套音响、单词卡。
2．学生准备：课本及其他学习用品。
【教学过程】
热身活动。
教师出示一幅简易路况图，引导学生问路并作回答。
2．新知呈现与操练。
（1）Get some information of the text.（获取文章内容的部分信息）
教师引导学生了解询问方向。
（2）Read and answer. （带着两个问题，阅读课文，再回答问题）
Q1: Where does Tom want to go
Q2: What does Tom need to do when he gets off the bus
Q3: How can Tom go to the subway
（3）Listen, repeat and analyze the text..
听录音，跟读，师生共同赏读课文。
（4）Talk about the text.
Q1: Where does Tom want to go
Q2: What does Tom need to do when he gets off the bus
Q3: How can Tom go to the subway
3．巩固拓展。
（1）Read and act.（学生看课件信息，一边看一边表演。）
（2）争分夺秒。
学生分为四组，每组每个成员需说出一个本单元的完整句子，要求句子不能重复，如果有人说重复句子，必须从头开始，在规定时间内说的最多句子的组别获胜。
4．总结。
教师和学生总结本课时的教学重点，先由学生谈谈自己学到了什么，再由老师总结。
【作业布置】
模仿课文，编对话。
