一、教学目标：
1. 能掌握以下词汇：字母Ss ~ Zz, color, red, white, black, blue, green, yellow, purple, brown
2. 能掌握以下句型：
① — What's this — It's V.
② — What's that — It's Z.
③ — What color is it — It's red.
3. 能运用所学知识熟练描述物体的颜色，同时进一步学习分辨物体的用语，并加以运用。
4. 能掌握字母Ss ~ Zz的字母顺序，读音及书写。
5. 用各种可以调动学生积极性的活动来提高学生的活跃性，激发他们参与讨论的热情。让学生们能发表个人观点，努力解决问题；能学会与他人合作与交流；能运用多种手段为英语学习服务。同时可以对学生进行美育教育，从小培养他们对美的正确认识。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点：
1) 使学生能运用所学知识熟练描述物体的颜色，同时进一步学习分辨物体的用语，并加以运用。
2）学习掌握字母Ss ~ Zz的字母顺序，读音及书写。

三、教学过程
Ⅰ. Presentation
学习表示颜色的单词red, white, black, blue, green, yellow, purple, brown
Ⅱ. Work on 1a
Let Ss look at the picture in 1a.
Read the colors on the left then read the letters. Write the letter for each color.
red ___
yellow ___
green ___
blue ___
black ___
white ___
purple ___
brown ___
Ss write the letters next to the colors. Then let some Ss read their letters to check the answers.
Ⅲ. Listening (Work on 1b)
1. Tell Ss to look at the picture in 1a. Some students are talking about the colors and letters.
2. OK. Now let's listen to the recording first. Then repeat after the recording.
(教师播放录音三次，第一次学生们仅听，第二次和第三次学生们跟读。注意可运用暂停键来让学生们有足够的时间读完。)
3. Ss listen and repeat after the recording.
Ⅳ. Pair work
让学生们看1a图画中的人物的对话，告诉学生图画中男孩与女孩就不同颜色的字母进行问答对话。同学们应注意应用正确运用this和that。
2. 运用刚学的句型，对图画中不同颜色的字母进行问答。
S1: What's this
S2: It's U.
S1: What color is it
S2: It's white.
S3: What's that
S4: It's T.
S3: What color is it
S4: It's brown.
…
What color is it
用来询问物体的颜色。其基本句型结构为 “What color + be + 主语(被询问的物品)？”。
当句子主语是单数时, be动词用is, 其答语一般用“It’s + 表示颜色的形容词”; 当句子主语是复数时, be动词用are, 其答语一般用 “They’re + 表示颜色的形容词”。
e.g. — What color is the pen
这支钢笔是什么颜色？
— It’s white.
它是白色的。
— What color are the cups
茶杯是什么颜色的？
— They’re yellow
它们是黄色的。
注意:
回答 “What color + be + 主语 ” 时也可直接回答颜色。
e.g. — What color is the key
钥匙是什么颜色的？
— Yellow.
黄色的。
Ⅴ. Listening
T：First, let's listen to the letters. (Work on 2a)
(播放录音三次，第一次学生们仅听，第二次和第三次学生们跟读。注意可运用暂停键来让学生们有足够的时间读完。)
