教材分析 The theme context of this lesson is people and society, and the theme is sports and fitness. This lesson is the first lesson, which is a listening and speaking lesson. This lesson consists of two listening paragraphs. In terms of genre, both of them are dialogues. The theme is inviting friends to participate in sports activities. In terms of content, the two listening materials selected the current very popular sports activities, namely e-sports and rainbow run. The two materials introduced the content, time and place of the sports activities, and the second material also mentioned the meaning of rainbow Run and ticket price, so that the students had a deep impression on the current sports activities at home and abroad. In terms of language, the two paragraphs contain sentence patterns of inviting friends to participate in sports activities and responding to them. At the phonological level, listening texts reinforce the communicative purpose of invitation by stressing content words.
学情分析 High school students are full of curiosity and thirst for knowledge. They have certain ability to acquire information when listening to text materials. They can easily acquire basic information such as what, when and where, but they still need to improve in combing and integrating information. In terms of oral expression, students have a general understanding of how to invite friends to participate in sports activities, but in expression, they are not accurate enough to grasp the use of some sentence patterns, and the relevant knowledge is not systematic and comprehensive. In phonetics, the emphasis on intonation and stress is not enough, so it is difficult to flexibly use in daily communication.
学习 目标与核心素养 Language ability 1. Obtain and sort out the factual information about E-sports and Blue Run in the two dialogues; 2. Analyze and summarize the functional expressions of sending invitation and responding invitation in the two dialogues; 3. Can understand the intention and emotional attitude expressed by the person according to the change of stress; 4. Create dialogues and invite students to participate in selected sports activities to experience the fun of sports, and feel the significance of the sports spirits.

Activity4: Listen to the tape and fill in the chart with what you have heard. Listen for main ideas and circle the answers. Listen and complete the following sentences with exact words or phrases. Talk and think what good qualities the sportsman or sportswoman should have. Listen to the conversation and identify who voices each of the opinions. While listening, fill in the chart with the key words they have heard. Listening for main ideas could provide their background information and general information of the dialogues to get Ss ready for the following listening task. Listening again for details enables the students to better understand the listening material and identify the opinions speakers want to express. Think critically and pave the way to talk about definition of sportsmanship. Help the students understand the meaning of sportsmanship and enable them to learn useful words and expressions on how to voice their opinions.

Choose one of the situations below and make a conversation Use the phrases learnt today to talk about their ideas on sports and sportsmanship. Choose of the situations to voice their opinions Enable the students to think creatively based on the information learnt from the listening material. Enable to express their opinions of sportsmanship.
作业 Review what learnt in the class. Polish your conversation and present it in the next class. Finish the exercise 1,2,4 from Page 83, 84 in the WORKBOOK. Consolidate the knowledge and skills students have learned in this lesson.
