教学重点 难点 1.重点： (1)能就上节所学短文的内容，完成填写段落关键词及短文填空的任务。 (2)掌握本单元所学used to句型的用法，并能正确运用此句型来进行表达。 (3)能综合运用本单元所学习的语言知识来描写某人或某事物与过去相比所发生的一些变化。 2.难点：灵活运用本单元所学知识描写某人或某事物与过去相比所发生的一些变化。
教学 过程 Teacher’s and Students’ Activities Intention
Step 1 Lead-in 　Lead-in 1.Describe the pictures with “used to be…” 2.Look and say Look at this girl.This photo was taken four years ago.And this one was taken last week.Who can describe the differences between the two pictures Possible answer：She was 10 years old and now she is a 14－year－old girl.She used to have short hair and now she has long hair.She used to be short and now she is tall.She used to like sports，but now she is quiet. 通过描述图片，导入话题，同时也借此让学生对本单元进行一次复习。

Step 3 While- writing Guidance on writing methods 【典例分析】 我们的每一次变化都见证着我们的成长。请以“The Biggest Personal Change I've Ever Made”为题，根据以下要点和要求，用英语写一篇短文。 要点1.变化是什么；2.变化是如何发生的；3.变化后有何感受。 要求：1.语言通顺，行文流畅；2.词数100左右。 One possible version: The Biggest Personal Change I've Ever Made The biggest personal change I have ever made is that I have fallen in love with reading. When I was a child，I didn't enjoy books at all.Later，my mother always read stories for me and bought me books. Gradually I began to love reading.Now I believe reading helps me know more about the world.I've improved my writing skills by reading.What's more，when I spend most of my free time reading，I will be able to develop a good reading habit.Books enrich my knowledge and make me happy. Step 5 Language Points Explanation 写作指导：审清题目 内容：关于自己过去与现在情况的对比，重点介绍一个最主要的变化 文体：说明文 人称：以第一人称为主 时态：一般过去时(可用本单元的used to结构表示“过去常常……”)和一般现在时 重要知识点讲解,结合典例，帮助学生形成语法体系。
Step6 Exercises Writing Write about how you have changed.What did you use to be like Which change is the most important one and why Paragraph 1 General introduction about the changes in your life. Step 7 Summary Summarize the key content in this lesson. Step 8 Homework 1.Make students practice talking about their changes in appearance，personality and hobbies. 2.Write an e－mail to your friend about how you have changed in the last few years. 内化所学知识，强化学习效果。
