*传说耶稣遇难前和弟子们共进了一次晚餐。参加晚餐的第13个人是耶稣的弟子犹大。就是这个犹大为了30块银元，把耶稣出卖给犹太教当局，致使耶稣受尽折磨。而且参加最后晚餐的是13个人，晚餐的日期恰逢13日，“13”给耶稣带来苦难和不幸。从此，“13”被认为是不幸的象征，也成为背叛和出卖的同义词。

What does he/she look like
look like 看起来像……
辨析：look like 与be like
look like “看起来像”，相像，强调相貌、身材等外在特征。
be like “像……一样”，相像，强调性格、人品等内在特征。
look 为系动词，like 为介词，后接可数名词、代词等作宾语。
What does sb. look like？意为“某人长什么样？”，用来询问某人的长相或外貌特征，可根据人的外貌特征直接回答。
e.g. The hat looks like a cat.
这顶帽子看起来像一只猫。
Mary is like her mother. They are both quiet.
玛丽像她妈妈。她俩都很安静。
—What does Tony look like 托尼长什么样？
—He is tall and thin. 他又高又瘦。
—What’s she like 她是一个怎样的人？
—She is kind. 她很善良。
What be+ 主语+like 意为
“某人怎么样？”，侧重于提问某人的性格特征。

当一个句子中同时有长短、颜色两个形容词来修饰名词时，我们通常把长短放在颜色的前面。
e.g. She has a long white dress.
她有一条长的白色连衣裙。
形容词对对排，谁先后有顺序，先长短后颜色，同学们要记牢！
多个形容词修饰名词的顺序是:限定描绘大长高，形状年龄和新老，颜色国籍与材料，作用类别往后靠。

一般放在实义动词之前，be 动词、助动词或情态动词之后。大多数情况下可以和nearly 互换。
e.g. It’s almost/nearly twelve o’clock. 快12 点了。
Almost nobody believed her.
几乎没有人相信她。
almost 和nearly 都可修饰数词、不定代词、形容词、动词和介词短语等。
