be supposed to do sth. 意为“被要求、被期望做……；应当……”，相当于should，用来表示劝告、建议、义务等。
在否定句中用be not supposed to do sth. 意为“不准、不应当做某事”，表示命令和禁止，相当于be not allowed to do sth.。
Everyone is supposed to wear a seat belt in the car. 在汽车里每个人都得系上安全带。
