四、教学过程：
Step 1: Lead-in
Let students read the sentences in Grammar Focus.
Step 2: Grammar Focus
1. 学生阅读Grammar Focus中的句子，讲解“used to”。
use to 与动词原形连用，表述过去常做某事
e.g: I used to play tennis every day, but now we play soccer.
我以前每天打网球，但是现在我们踢足球。
2. 从Grammar Focus 中找出“used to”的否定用法。
I use to 变否定句需借助助动词didn’t 且助动词放在used 之前
I used to do 变成I didn’t use to
e.g：I didn’t use to play tennis every day. But now I play soccer.
3. 从Grammar Focus 中找出“used to”一般疑问句的用法。
I use to 变疑问句需借助助动词did且助动词放在句首
I used to do 变成Did you use to...？
e.g：-Did you use to live in London
你过去生活在伦敦吗？
-Yes, I did. But now I live in Beijing.
是的，我现在生活在北京。
4. 学生们根据学习的知识，来完成相应的练习。

Do you wonder what ordinary（普通的）family life was like in the old days If you do, here are a few examples for you.
Women (1) (have) seven or eight children, but one in every three children died before reaching one year of age. Many children(2) (leave) home when they were as young as seven years old to work as helpers on farms.
