Other kinds of computers are so tiny that you may be unaware of them.
其他类型的电脑太小了，因此你可能没有意识到它们的存在。
unaware 表示“没有意识到的”，是形容词，可以用来修饰名词或代词。
在本句中，unaware 修饰 you，表示“你可能没有意识到它们的存在”。
注意：英语中有些形容词加上前缀 un- 可以构成反义词，如：unhappy（不高兴的）、unlucky（不幸的）、unfair（不公平的）等。
例句：
I was unaware of the danger. 我没有意识到危险。
She was unaware of his feelings for her. 她没有意识到他的感情。
I am unaware of any changes in the plan. 我不知道计划有任何变化。
It is common knowledge that computers are super calculators。
众所周知，电脑是超级计算器。
common knowledge 表示“众所周知的”，是一个固定搭配，可以用来表示某事是人们普遍知道的。
在本句中，that computers are super calculators 是common knowledge的一个同位语从句，用来解释说明 common knowledge。
注意：It is common knowledge that ... 也可以用 As we all know, ... 来表示。
例句：
It is common knowledge that the earth is round. 众所周知，地球是圆的。
It is common knowledge that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. 众所周知，太阳从东方升起，从西方落下。
It is common knowledge that love makes the world go round. 众所周知，爱情使世界转动。
However, one day computers may be able to do most things that a human brain can do and even do them better.
然而，将来某一天，电脑也许可以做人脑所能做的大部分事情，甚至做得更好。
that a human brain can do 是一个定语从句，用来修饰 things，表示“人脑所能做的”。
例句：
The things that I can do are limited. 我能做的事情很有限。
The things that you need to do are as follows. 你需要做的事情如下。
The things that I want to do are many. 我想要做的事情很多。
You can bug a program which helps the computer recognize your voice.
你可以购买一套程序,用以帮助电脑识别你的声音。
program 是名词，意为“程序，编码，指令”。
在本句中，program 是主语，which helps the computer recognize your voice 是一个定语从句，用来修饰 program。
注意：8A Unit 4 曾学过 Someone had to first program the computer with instructions，其中的 program 作动词，意为“编程”。
例句：
There is a new program that helps you learn English. 有一套新的程序可以帮助你学习英语。
The program is very easy to use. 这个程序很容易使用。
I need to install the program before I can use it. 我需要安装程序才能使用它。
Many of today's computers have CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drives.
现在，许多电脑都有光驱。
drive 是名词，意为“驱动器”。
另外 drive 也可作动词，意为“驾驶”，如：He drives a taxi. 他开出租车。
例句：
My computer has a CD-ROM drive. 我的电脑有 CD-ROM 驱动器。
The DVD-ROM drive is not working. DVD-ROM 驱动器坏了。
I need to buy a new hard drive. 我需要买一个新的硬盘驱动器。
For example, you can use your computer to read about a famous person from history and you can see a photograph or video of him or her, and even listen to them speaking.
譬如，你可以用电脑来查阅某个历史名人的相关资料，你还可以看他(她）的照片或录像，甚至聆听他（她)的演讲。
read about 意为“读到，查阅到”，如：Our English teacher likes reading about American history. 我们的英语老师喜欢阅读美国历史方面的东西。
例句：
I read about the history of China in a book. 我在书中读到了中国的历史。
I need to read about the new software before I can use it. 我需要阅读新软件的说明书才能使用它。
I read about your trip to Europe on your website. 我从你的网站上读到了你去欧洲的旅行。
