教材分析 The theme of this unit is "cultural heritage", and this section is called "Take part in a youth project and Talk about history and culture". Students listen to conversations through which students can understand the significance of cultural heritage protection through the description of youth participation in cultural heritage protection, and young people can use what they have learned, combined with their own interests and advantages, to participate in the protection of cultural heritage.The listening text is a dialogue between two tourists and tour guides when they visit the Kremlin, Red Square and surrounding buildings. The dialogue focuses on the functional items of “starting a conversation”, which is used to politely and appropriately attract the attention of the others, so as to smoothly start a conversation or start a new topic. The purpose of this section is to guide students to understand the history and current situation of Chinese and foreign cultural heritage in their own tourism experiences or from other people’s tourism experiences, explore the historical and cultural values, and be able to express accurately and appropriately in oral communication.
学情分析 Students' oral expression ability is not good, but their ability to acquire listening information is a little short, so they need to learn more listening skills and get a lot of oral exercise. In addition, most students in this class are not familiar with the words in this unit, so some students may feel difficult in the process of listening to the new words, and there will be some difficulties in expressing their own ideas.

Where can we see the four Chinese characters “五岳独尊” Have a free talk and speak out something about cultural heritage. Arouse their interest in the topic and provide basic information for them, which helps them listen to find the answers easily.
听中环节 Activity1: Listen for the main idea. A Students from different countries are working creatively to protect a temple in China. B Youths from seven countries are working together to protect cultural relics on Mount Tai. C Doing a project on cultural heritage Activity2: Listen again and help the reporter to complete the interview notes. Activity3: Use context to guess words and fill in the blanks. Help the reporter to complete the news report based on what you hear and the interview notes. Activity4: Discuss the questions.
