教材分析 The text is the main reading text in the unit, which is one of the three components to achieve the unit goal. At the same time, it is the carrier of grammar learning, so it is worth studying carefully. This narrative text tells the story of a British English teacher named Jane who quit her job and took the initiative to help others with the help of the Internet. On the surface, the text tells how the Internet has changed people's way of life. From the perspective of deep meaning, this paper further expresses the "chain reaction" brought by the Internet to people: as a medium, the Internet connects people to help each other, stimulates people's positive energy, and transmits people's mutual care. The full text consists of five paragraphs, the text structure is clear. The first paragraph illustrates the positive effects of Internet on people. Paragraph 2, Paragraph 3 and Paragraph 4 describe the psychological and behavioral changes of Jane after she lost her job at home and contacted the Internet. In the fifth paragraph, Jane explains the reason why she is willing to help others through her own words, which reflects the positive effect of mutual help. This paper can focus on the key word "change, stronger, together" in the title to carry out teaching, mainly through silent reading to extract text information, question processing related language, character appreciation to learn excellent quality, writing transfer to train language ability and other teaching strategies to achieve the reading teaching objectives of this paper.
学情分析 Students are familiar with the discourse topic and can be interested in it. At the same time, because of the obvious structure of the discourse and the few new words, students are not very difficult to understand the general idea. However, students may be challenged by the deeper issues related to the text, such as the "meaning summary" of the general idea of the paragraph, the appreciation of the title.
