While-reading Activity 2:Read the passage quickly and find out the author’s writing purpose. Activity 3(Team work):Read the passage again and this time divide the passage into three parts. And please figure out the main idea if each part. Before students start their reading, the teacher ask them how to get the main idea quickly --Pay attention to the first and last sentence in each para. Activity 4: How does the writer organize this part Introduce some phrases to give examples and other ways to support one’s opinion.
