教材分析 本文属于说明性科普类文本，全文以时间线为轴，用既符合科学方法和科学事实，又通俗易懂的语言展示了人类开展太空探索的历史进程，以及取得的历史性成就，说明了探索太空的意义重大，并且弘扬了本单元封面页“人类的一切进步，正是源自于对未知的不懈探索”这一种进取精神。第一段通过引入问题，阐明了人类探索宇宙的初衷；第二段从国际视角出发，概述了苏联和美国探索太空所取得的瞩目成就；第三段简要说明了人类在太空探索过程中遇到的艰难困阻，但依旧勇于探索的决心；第四段聚焦在中国的太空探索发展上，虽然我国起步较晚，但发展迅速，成就卓著；第五段展望未来，与第一段遥相呼应，再次阐明了太空探索的意义和目的，全文洋溢着作者对全人类，尤其是科学家、宇航员勇担重任、无私奉献的赞美之情。
教学目标 Train the students’ ability to summarize the main idea for each paragraph. Enable the students know about the development and value of space exploration，especially China’s achievements and contributions to space exploration. Encourage students to learn more about the meaning of space exploration..
教学重点 Improve the students’ summarizing ability. Enable the students to understand the value of space exploration.
教学难点 Make the students summarize the main idea for the text and each paragraph more accurately.
解读学生
学情分析 Students are weak in English in our school。 Maybe they are eager to learn something in our class, but they have little knowledge about space exploration and they can not voice their sound in English class. So we should try our best to let them open their mouth and say something, learn something in our class.

教学过程
步骤一：Pre-reading
活动1（名称） Students watch a video about HangXiaoTian, a mascot from CNSA
设计意图 Use video to catch Ss’ attention. Expand their horizons and spark their interest.
活动2（名称） HangXiaoTian explains the structure of the passage to the students
设计意图 Students have a better understanding of the passage and easy to learn the passage.
步骤二：While-reading
活动1（名称） 1. Building the dream 筑梦天空，由来已久
设计意图 -Introduce the background information of China’s flying dream, and then lead to the first paragraph of the passage。 -Let student summarize the main idea of the first paragraph and know that flying into the space is a long-going dream for people around the world.
活动2（名称） 2. Pursuing the dream 逐梦之旅，道阻且长
设计意图 -Lead students to read paragraph 2 and 3, let them know that pursuing the flying dream is a hard and difficult journey. -Paragraph 2 make us know the efforts and achievement made by USSR and the USA. -Paragraph 3 makes us know space exploration is full of risks and many died of it, but we mankind never give up and keep on going to pursue the dream.
活动3（名称） 3. Realizing the dream一飞冲天，圆梦太空
设计意图 -Mainly let students know the progress made by China in space exploration. - Cultivate students’ confidence in space technology.
活动4（名称） 4. Continuing the dream 续梦天空，仍需奋斗
设计意图 -Let students read the paragraph 5, and get to know that the future of space exploration remains bright. -We are full of confidence in country and our future.
步骤三：Post-reading
活动1（名称） Critical thinking： Interview: What’s your dream Why you have the dream
设计意图 -Discuss with their desk mates and then share their ideas. -Voice their opinions. -Practice their team spirit. -Practice their thinking skill and imagination. -Practice their speaking and listening.
活动2（名称） Summary
设计意图 Consolidate Ss’ knowledge system. Cultivate students’ sense of article consciousness.
活动3（名称） Homework
设计意图 -According to what you said in our class, write a passage: my dream. Tell us what is your dream and why. -Consolidate Ss’ knowledge and prepare for the following lesson.

教学反思
本课以我的航天梦为线索，航小天为讲述人，从“筑梦——逐梦——圆梦——续梦”四个角度，层层推进，第一段通过引入问题，阐明了人类探索宇宙的初衷；第二段从国际视角出发，概述了苏联和美国探索太空所取得的瞩目成就；第三段简要说明了人类在太空探索过程中遇到的艰难困阻，但依旧勇于探索的决心；第四段聚焦在中国的太空探索发展上，虽然我国起步较晚，但发展迅速，成就卓著；第五段展望未来，与第一段遥相呼应，再次阐明了太空探索的意义和目的，全文洋溢着作者对全人类，尤其是科学家、宇航员勇担重任、无私奉献的赞美之情。最后的语言输出部分，我直接贯穿前文的航天梦，让学生观看视频“Did you still remember your dream ”来激发学生灵魂的思考，然后采访学生“What is your dream Why you have the dream What will you do for your dream ”去激发学生的动力，让他们也可以像航天员一样为了自己的梦想努力奋斗。 今后，本人要在课堂教学上进一步加强以下几方面：第一，要更为合理地安排设计整节课。要根据现实生活和教材的内容，依据学生已有的经验提出一个具有挑战性的问题，设计一个任务，引导学生去解决问题，完成任务。在解决问题的过程中使学生对新知识的理解、情感、体验等方面有所收获，有所发展。第二，在组织阅读教学中，设计学生互动环节，学生交流中要明确任务的布置，使学生能够在交流中体会语言知识，通过交流让学生自己运用语言、自己发现错误，以便获得知识。第三，要加强教学理论的学习，在教学中应将传统与现代有效的结合起来，严格按照《新课标》的要求，认真钻研《考试大纲》，在教学思路和方法上求实、求新、求变。注意指导学生在学习方法上的突破，养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略；培养学生自主学习的能力，拓展视野，为他们的终身学习和发展打下良好的基础。
