学习目标 知识目标 1.学生能提取文章的主要信息和观点，形成个人看法。 2.通过阅读，理解杂志文章写作特点。 3.掌握与主题相关的词汇 学习重点、难点 重点：引导学生通过标题预测文本内容，理解文本信息和结构，帮助学生掌握和运用描述优秀运动员品质的词汇，体会这些真正杰出的运动员作为模范和榜样的力量。 难点：帮助学生梳理语篇的逻辑层次和结构，启发学生解读传奇人物的真正内涵。引导学生思考体育界传奇人物的影响，增强学生爱国情怀和民族自豪感。
素养目标 对阅读语篇中各信息的逻辑关系进行分析与推断，归纳作者的观点及其论据； 2.培养学生对于体育精神和示例的分析和判断，并形成个人观点； 3.学生能够仿照课文结构，简单的介绍一位自己认为的体育界的“传奇人物”，并后期生成语段。 课标要求 本单元以运动和健康为主题，从不同的方面说明运动除了竞赛的目的，更多的还是为了身心的健康。该模块的活动主题是“选择你最喜欢的运动员”。文本提供了活动的情境，即某杂志社请读者来信选出自己心目中的“体育界的活传奇”要求学生在理解的基础上，总结评选标准，给出推荐的理由。
学情分析 通过前一阶段的学习，学生的词汇有了一定的积累，高一学生的阅读理解能力还需要提高。在问题设置上尽量考虑到了这一点，层层设定，难度逐渐增加，在深入理解这个环节需要引导。与输入能力相比，学生的语言输出能力相对较弱，在总结和概括能力方面需要教师的逐步引导和方法指导。尤其是在享受英语阅读和把英语阅读常态化上，需要教师给予一定的鼓励和肯定。
