一、课程标准
新课标要求八年级学生能在教师引导和协助下，采用合适的方式，方法认识与中外文化有关的具体现象和事物，尊重并包容不同文化，涵养家国情怀，初步理解人类命运共同体的概念，能通过语言简单，主题相关的语篇材料获取并归纳中外文化信息，在参与交际活动时，意识到文化差异在语言交流中的表现，能尝试采用多种策略进行沟通和交流，能基于已有经验和知识，用所学英语描述熟悉的文化现象和文化差异，具备比较，判断常见的中外文化差异性和相似性的基本能力，能理解与感悟优秀文化的内涵，有正确的价值观，健康的审美情趣和良好的品格。
二、学习内容分析
本课时为本单元第一课时，是一节听说课。1a的主题图呈现了两个孩子手拿遥控器悬电视节目的情景，他们在谈论自己喜欢哪种电视节目，1b听力对话的形式表达对不同电视节目类型的偏好的句式，活动1c主要让学生模仿输出询问偏好的句型What do you think of .. 以及几个表达喜好程度的短语。活动2a-2c 进一步巩固不同电视节目类型的名称。2d的对话让学生体会所学语言在真实语境中的使用情况，并为学生模仿语言和进一步拓展该话题提供了示范。
三、学情分析
八年级学生经过多年的英语学习，有较强的模仿能力，也初步具备一定的英语听说策略和能力；对于谈论不同电视节目类型有困难的话，老师可以提供一些他们熟悉的电视节目名称，并在黑板上板书，让同学们一一匹配，通过讨论加深学生对这些词汇的理解。同学们的学习也比较被动，除了老师提出问题，鼓励学生提出问题，让学生由被动的回答到主动的思维，以激发学生学习的主动性。
四、素养目标
本单元娱乐活动属于人与社会范畴，主题群是文学，艺术与体育，子主题内容是跨文化沟通与交流，语言与文化，中外影视，喜剧，音乐，舞蹈，绘画，建筑等艺术形式中的文化价值和作品赏析。 在收听或观看主题相关，语速较慢的广播，电视，网络节目时，识别主题，理解大意，获取主要信息，理解不同的电视类型。 在特定的情境中引出主题，并用所学语言与他们进行口头交流，有效询问，恰当表达，完成交际任务，表达自己对不同电视类型的喜好。

学习重点： 掌握重点的词汇和句型。 学习难点: 掌握want /hope/plan 引导的不定式做宾语 熟练使用love/stand/don’t mind等词表达自己的爱好

Step1:Warm-up: Raise a question: What kinds of TV shows do you usually watch Watch different TV shows and introduce them to Ss. After watching the videos, let Ss answers two questions. What TV program do you usually watch What’s your favourite TV program Why 1.Ss answer the question :What kinds of TV shows do you usually watch Watch videos and grasp different kinds of TV shows. After watching the videos, answer below questions: What TV program do you usually watch What’s your favourite TV program Why 利用提问，引出本课主题，引导学生思考并头脑风暴，在思考的过程中自然地感知目标语言，激发学习兴趣。
Step2:Presentation Show the picture in 1a, ask students to figure out different TV shows,read the phrases in 1a. Finish 1a, ask Ss to match the TV shows with the pictures(a-g). Read the phrases of different TV shows in 1a, finish 1a. 做练习前将新单词和句型进行操练，为听力训练降低难度。书本任务有利于学生更好掌握词汇和句型的用法。

Step4: Pair-work :1c 1.Practice the conversation in the picture above. Then make Ss own conversation. Students make conversations with their partners according to themselves . 能否根据课文内容编对话。
Step 5 Finish 2a &2b Read the requirement,read the material. Listen to Lin Hui and Sally’s conversation. Number the TV shows [1-5] in the order you hear them. Check the answers. Step 6 Finish 2c. 1.Ask and answer questions about the TV shows in 2a. Use information that is true for you. 2.Let Ss practice the conversation in 2c. Work in pairs. 通过操练、表演对话使学生进一步加深理解本节课的目标句型。同时也为下面的2d对话打下句型基础。
Step 7 Work on 2d 1.Introduce the background of the conversation, listen and read their conversation and find out what their favourite TV shows are. 2. Step 8：Summary Use a simple mind-map to let Ss review what they have learned this class and check whether they can say the topic words or not. Remember what they have learned and say the key words by thinking over. 思维导图形式是否能让学生清晰回顾本堂课的课脉结构，培养学生学会总结归纳并形成判断的思维品质
Step9:Exercises Let Ss do some exercises. Do some exercises. 当堂练习巩固学生所学内容和形成性检测师生双方学和教的效果。
