The Teaching Design of Unit9 I’m late
教学目标:
学生能听懂、会说、会读What time is it It’s ... o’clock. I must ...并运用所学语言在真实情境中进行交流。
2.学生能听、说、读、写核心词汇 get up, go to school, go to bed, what, time, clock, late, must,day,并能正确运用于日常交流中。
3.培养学生形成严格的时间观念，养成守时守纪的好习惯。
教学重点:
掌握并正确运用有关整点时间的问答。
教学难点:
掌握和运用时间表达法。
教学方法:
情景教学法，小组合作，任务型教学，多媒体教学。
教学过程：
Step1: Warming up and leading in
Sing a song . 《Ten little nice hats.》
Review some numbers.
Leading in
Let’s guess. There is a round face. There are twelve numbers. Tick tock, tick tock, what is it (clock) Read “rock sock clock” , spell and write ‘clock’. (板书）
【设计意图：通过猜谜活动引出单词‘clock’并操练，为本节课的新知学习做铺垫。】
Step2: Presentation and drills
.New words and sentences.
1. The clock can tell us the ‘time’. What’s the meaning 引导学生回答‘时间’，T T T /t/ /t/ /t/ mmm /m/ /m/ /m/ 进行简单拼读并板书。
2.The ‘time’ can tell us don’t be ‘late’. What’s the meaning 引导学生回答‘迟到’。Today let’s learn new lesson “Unit 9 I’m late”. （简单操练并板书课题）
3.Don’t’ be late, so we must know the time. Ask the time , we can say: “What time is it ”(板书句子并进行操练）
4.Show a clock and ask “What time is it ” 引导学生回答“It’s 3 o’clock.” 带学生区分clock 与o’clock.板书It’s …o’clock.
5.Show a clock “Now what time is it Let’s guess!” 拿出钟表道具学生拨动时针并根据模板一内容进行对话练习。
模板一：A: What time is it
B : It’s … o’clock.
New phrases.
（白板出示图片）Now look at this picture “What time is it ” 学生根据图片时间回答：“It’s six o’clock.”“Yes it’s six o’clock. I must get up.(做起床动作）”。做起床动作操练‘get up’, write and spell 板书并拼写练习。
It’s six o’clock, I must get up（着重强调must读音）.Do you know ‘must’ “Must” What’s the meaning 出示新词‘must’，spell and write.(板书）
(拿出钟表道具）Tick tock, tick tock, it’s six o’clock, I must get up. What about you 拿出钟表道具演示时间，把新词‘must’和短语‘get up’放在模板二中进行操练。
模板二： It's ... o’clock. I must get up.
4.（白板演示时针滴答转动到7点钟）“What time is it ” “It’s 7 o’clock I must go to school”引出新词组‘go to school’并放在‘It’s... o’clock, I must... ’句型中操练。
5. （白板中时钟继续转动到4点）同样询问学生“What time is it ”引导学生回答“ It’s four o’clock.”。 教师继续说But it’s four o’clock in the afternoon. We also can say: It’s four o’colck pm.(通过句子的不同说法让学生理解pm的含义） So I must go home. 操练’go home’ 并在 It’s... o’clock, I must... ’句型中巩固练习。
6.（白板中时钟继续转动到10点） Now, what time is it Yes, It’s ten o’clock pm. I must go to bed. 操练’go to bed’ 并在 It’s... o’clock, I must... ’句型中继续巩固练习。
7.Now let’s relax, let’s chant together.
Get up get up, I must get up.
Go to school, go to school, I must go to school.
Go home, go home, I must go home.
Go to bed, go to bed, I must go to bed.
【设计意图：分别把词组放在同一模板中并借助钟表道具让学生在真实的情境下进行意义操练，真正做到词不离句。通过出示模板、教师示范的方式进行练习，巩固新知的同时也降低了学习难度，培养学生学习英语的自信心。最后运用小chant，有效的活跃课堂气氛，提高学生学习兴趣并巩固所学新单词与新词组。】
三、 Learn the dialogue
1.Listen and answer question one.(第一次感知课文)
In sometimes we must do these things. But, this morning Billy is late. What happened. Now let’s listen and answer ‘ What’s Billy going to do ’(Billy将要去干什么 ) 学生听完录音找到答案：go to school。
2.Read and answer question two.(第二次感知课文）
What does Billy’s mom say in picture two 引导学生自己读文并找到答案 ‘Have a good day!’ 出示同义句：Have a great day! Have a nice day! 让学生理解其含义。
3.Listen the dialogue and read after the tape. (第三次感知课文）
学生跟读课文录音，模仿语音语调，感知课文。
4.Read in roles. (第四次感知课文）
学生进分角色朗读，进一步掌握对话内容。
5.Fill in the blanks.(第五次感知课文）
学生根据对话，对重点内容进行填空练习，进一步让学生掌握对话内容。
【设计意图：通过默读、听音回答问题，跟读，分组读、分角色读等多种形式对新知进行了练习与巩固。】
Step3 Consolidation and practice
(拿出钟表道具与学生做对话，为下面情境内容做示范，然后让学生选择一组情境进行对话练习)
情景一：A: Good morning,_____.
B: Good morning,_____.
A: What time is it
B: It's _____o’clock.
A: Let’s go to school.
B: All right. Let’s go.
情景二：A: Hello, __.
B: Hi, __.
B: What time is it
A: It’s ________.
B: Oh, I’m late. I must go home.
Goodbye.
A: OK. Bye-bye.
情景三：A: What time is it
B: It’s ___.
A: I must _____, Bye!
B: Goodbye!
【设计意图：把新旧知识融入真实的情景交际中进行对话练习,达到了学以致用的目的。】
Sept 4 Extension
（根据学生对话内容进行总结）In sometimes we must do these things. So I make a timetable(白板出示我的时间表）, Now，let me introduce my day!
