一、语篇研读
What：本课语篇是Danny和Jenny玩“宝石建议”游戏的日常对话。对话中，两人主要交流了如何玩“宝石建议”，和如何向别人提建议。
Why：Danny和Jenny玩“宝石建议”游戏的对话，帮助学生学会给别人提建议。同时也提供给学生如何使用英语表述做事情的过程。通过游戏激发学生兴趣的同时，培养孩子们的合作意识，让他们学会用英语表述建议。比如“Let’s play with my advice diamond.”,“Always be nice to your dinosaur friends.”。
How：本课的语篇内容是Danny和Jenny的日常对话，主要内容是Danny和Jenny玩“宝石建议”游戏的对话，由于是比较近的同学间的交谈，对话体现了非正式语体的主要特征。对话可以分为两个部分:第一部分是谈论玩“宝石游戏”，对话体现了如何向别人建议玩游戏；第二部分是玩游戏的过程，在游戏中Jenny三次不同的选择，体现了fact, wish和good advice的不同。本语篇的主题句型如“Let’s play with my advice diamond, Jenny.”“Choose a colour”等。
二、教学目标
通过本课的学习，学生能够：
1.掌握词汇：advice, diamond, number, seventeen, eighteen, opposite，短语及句型：Fast is the opposite of slow. /Choose a colour.
2.用英语表达做一件事情的过程和注意事项并学会给别人提建议。借助听说活动，有效提高听、说及阅读的能力。
3.借助思维导图、给出关键词等，能复述文本内容，并能运用所学知识介绍自己喜欢的游戏。
4.掌握本课主要语法知识点，运用相关的语言表达方式，更好的理解课文内容。
三、教学过程（依据教学目标设计教学活动）
【教学目标】1.学生掌握有关玩游戏的词汇和短语：advice, diamond, number, seventeen, eighteen, opposite；advice diamond, the opposite of… 。
【教学活动】

【效果评价】观察学生谈论问题的情况，根据说出的单词数量、积极性了解其关本课的词汇掌握程度。
【设计意图】以自由谈话形式导入课题，激发学生参与的兴趣，激活学生关于表达建议的词汇和句型。
【教学目标】2.学生学会用英语表述做一件事情的过程。借助听说活动，训练学生的阅读理解能力和听力技能。

【设计意图】通过预测任务引发学生思考，培养学生利用标题线索进行推断预测的能力;提前预览问题，培养学生准确获取、梳理和记录关键信息的能力。
【教学目标】3.借助思维导图、给出关键词等，让学生复述文本内容，学会用英语给别人提建议。能用英语介绍自己喜欢的游戏。
【教学活动】

丹尼和詹妮制作了宝石建议。
advice是不可数名词，意为“建议；劝告”。
常用短语：give sb. some advice＝give some advice to sb. 给某人一些建议；take one's advice 接受某人的建议。
Can you give me some advice on road safety
你能给我一些有关道路安全的建议吗？
You must follow your doctor’s advice.
你必须遵从医嘱。
[注意] “一条建议”用a piece of advice，“两条建议”用two pieces of advice，“许多建议”要用much advice。
(2)This is making me tired!
这使我感到累！
make sb./sth.+adj.”意为“使某人或某物处于某种状态”。形容词作宾语补足语,对宾语进行补充说明。能够带宾语补足语的动词有很多,常见的有make, get, have等。
This is making me tired!
这使我很累！
Two hours’ walk made me tired and thirsty.
两个小时的步行让我又累又渴。
(3) Always be nice to your dinosaur friends.
要一直对你的恐龙朋友友好呀。
肯定祈使句的句首加always表示“要一直……”,也可以加never表示“永远不要……”。
Always remember your teacher.
要永远记住你的老师。
Never tell him about it.
永远别告诉他这件事。
