rise不及物动词，不能用于被动语态。意为“增加；提高攀升；升起；站起来”。其过去式、过去分词分别为 rose 和 risen。
注意：raise意为“举起，提高，抚养”，是及物动词，后面必须加宾语，即动作的对象。
1) 太阳从东方升起，从西方落下。The sun rises in the east and sets west.
2) 他想要回答问题，所以举起了右手。
