教材解读
What: 本单元的话题是“曾经去过某地”，而本节课是以“新加坡”为主题的阅读课。
Why: 作者鼓励读者到新加坡旅游，打开国际视野，增加人生体验和乐趣。
How: 文章前三段作者以Have you ever… 开始，奠定了文章为过去完成时的基调。语篇配有图片和Making notes, 帮助学生培养复述的好习惯。
学情分析
通过对国内名胜古迹以及许多博物馆的学习积累，学生对用现在完成时表示去过某地有了一定的了解与认识，为上新课做好了充分的知识储备。但是学生灵活运用“现在完成时态”的能力不足，期待通过本节课的学习，强化灵活运用的能力。学生在阅读《新加披一个难忘的地方》这篇文章时，重点学习运用“现在完成时态”谈论新加坡，学习如何介绍地方特色。

Let’s see a movie about Singapore. After watching , teacher asks: What did you see in the movie Who can tell me. After students answer , teacher asks again : Do you want to know more about Singapore Ok, today we’ll learn : Singapore---A place you will never forget!
【设计意图】：通过观看视频“新加坡野生动物园”为后面的阅读打下基础。

Task 1:
Juno wants to travel to Singapore on summer vacation. Her friend——Linda sent messages to her. Please fill in the conversation using past perfect tense.
【设计意图】：让学生在对话中加深对现在完成时的理解并达到熟练运用的目的，把原来2d读后完成的任务，降低难度，改为首字母填空的读前活动。创设情境，微信聊天框，让学生更有代入感。

thousand 一千。其前若有具体数字，thousand要用单数形式；表示约数时，则要用复数形式且后面加of。短语搭配：thousands of，意为“数以千计的，许许多多的”。

借用蒙层技术，将动物隐藏在课件页面里，通过逐步用橡皮擦擦去，隐藏的动物逐渐显现，提问让学生猜测动物的英文单词，达到了回顾单词的效果

One great thing about Singapore is that the temperature is almost the same all year round.关于新加坡的一件很棒的事情就是气温几乎全年一样。这是一个主从复合句。is后是一个完整的句子，作表语，称为表语从句。其引导词that本身无实义，只起引导作用。。
【设计意图】：让学生尝试翻译长难句有助于检验学生对已学知识的掌握情况，以便教师及时调整教学方法。此外，还可以帮助学生养成思考分析的好习惯 。Step4 Post-reading Let’s review

Step 5 Summary
In this class, we’ve learned the reading strategy: Retelling. When you finish reading, take a moment to think about what you read. What things do you remember immediately Ask yourself what information you know and what is new. This helps you register new information and remember it. And we also did some practice to consolidate the know-ledge we learned.
Step 6 Homework
A Level:
1. Write an ad for our hometown or for a place you have been to.
B Level:
1.Read 2b three times.
2.Write 3-4 sentences describing your hometown.

教学反思
按照新课标的要求，初中阶段的阅读目标主要包括：（1）梳理书面语篇的脉络、梗概和发展变化，提取关键信息，归纳内容要点熟悉话题的语段；（2）识别和判断书面语篇中上下文之间的逻辑关系；（3）能根据连续的指令完成任务；（4）能选用正确的词语、句式和时态，通过口语或书面语篇描述、介绍人和事物，表达个人看法，表意清晰，话语基本通顺
本节课中任务包含新课标的要求内容。
同时本节课体现了以学生为主体，其中体现在两个方面，一个是引导：
1.引导学生主动参与课堂，提高学习英语的兴趣
2.引导学生用阅读策略和阅读技巧提高阅读效率
3.引导学生动手设计旅游攻略，为日后旅游做准备
另一个是鼓励：
1.鼓励学生使用目标句型完成情境中设下的教学任务
2.鼓励学生用科学的记忆和理解方法学习英语
3.鼓励学生口头表达，小组讨论
不足的地方是，阅读活动设计多，导致时间分配不足，另一方面，最后的复述课文这一步应该让更多的学生参与口头表达。同时在课程设计中缺少跨学科融合的例子，在之后的教学中可以适当增加符合主题其他学科的内容。
