Be a smart shopper while shopping
一、基于大单元教学理念的教材解读
本单元的大主题是购物,主要的语言功能项目是谈论服装(颜色、大小、尺寸);询问价格(用How much引导的问句 );提供帮助、表示感谢(角色扮演售货员和顾客间的对话);了解广告文本;设计广告海报。基于单元整体设计理念,本单元将分为5个课时。
本节20分钟的课选取自第一课时:Section A 1a-1c & Section B 1a-1e 听说课(一)。
二、教学目标
1. 通过听取对话的关键信息,了解对话主要内容和细节,培养学生的理解能力和整合关键信息的语言能力和思维品质;
2. 通过对听力材料的分析,引导学生用语气来表达情绪态度,培养学生解读文本信息的学习能力和思维品质;
3. 通过创设情境,引导学生运用所学句型谈论服装价格,表达服装喜好和个人需求,从而帮助学生树立理性购物的观念。
三、教学重难点
1. 通过整合听力文本关键信息,并根据语气判断说话者的情感态度,得知其购物的意图。
2. 通过创设情境,引导学生运用所学句型、依据个人对服装的需求、喜好、价格成本创编对话,树立理性购物的观念。
四、教学过程
Step 1 Before listening
Warming-up
1. Clap your hands when I sing.
2. Rules for group competition.
设计意图:活跃氛围,创设情境,引出主题。
Word review
1. Students stand up to say the word loudly when they see the clothes in the store.
2. Students stand up to say the word loudly when I try on some clothes.
设计意图:快速反应,复习目标词汇。
Sentence review
Ask and answer about the prices of clothes in pairs.
设计意图:两两合作,复习目标句型“How much”引导的问句及其回答。
Guessing game
Guess what I will buy with the sentence “Do you like the... ”.
设计意图:使用听力原文中出现的重要句型谈论服装价格、喜好,表达个人需求。

Summary
Summarize three things I think about while shopping.
设计意图:引导学生总结购物三要素:需求、喜好、价格,初步形成理性购物意识。
Step 2 While listening
Listening task (1)
1. Listen and circle the things Kate and her mom talk about.
2. Check the answers
设计意图:听取对话的关键信息,了解对话主要内容和细节。
Listening task (2)
1. Listen and watch the video, and answer two questions:
a. What does Kate buy in the end
b. Why does Kate buy them
2. Check the answers:
a. How do you know that Kate buys the blue trousers
(I’ll take them.)
b. Analysize the emotion Kate has and the meaning behind the word “only”. That means Kate’s mom thinks the trousers are inexpensive.

Pairwork
1. Double 11 is coming. Go shopping with your classmate in the clothes store NICE.
2. Checklist for your conversation with your partner.
设计意图:创设情境,引导学生运用所学句型、根据老师提供的对话框架,从喜好、需求、价格三个方面创编对话。并强调对话时情感表达,语言流畅的重要性。

Boys and girls, Double 11 is coming. you know so many people are crazy about this day. Because so many things are on great sale. But can we buy everything we want Of course not. We should buy what we need, what we like, and think about the price. Then you can be a smart shopper.
设计意图:
引导学生说出理性购物三要素:need,like,price.
引出Be a smart shopper的终极目标,强化学生理性购物的观念。
Homework
Level A: Imitate the conversation between Kate and Kate's mom for 10 min.
Level B: Write down a conversation between you and your friend when shopping.
设计意图:分层布置作业,满足不同层次学生的需求。
