教 学 重 难 点 教学重点： 1) 能运用目标语言简单讨论及比较身边的人、事、物.。 2) 通过听力训练提高综合听说能力.。 教学难点： 1) 能准确掌握形容词和副词最高级的规则和不规则的结构.。 2）能在真实语境中运用目标语言进行口语输出练习.。
【本课时教学设计】
Step1 Greeting(2mins)
T: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you. My name is Li, you can call me Miss.Li. I’m from Sanqiao Middle school. Are you happy today I’m happy too. If you are happy, you can stand up/ sit down /clap your hands.
Then introduce the content and learning goals that Ss will learn.
Step2 Review(3mins)
Compare the given pictures using superlatives and comparative levels. (elicit answers from students to check their levels of mastery). Then summarize the rules that how to change original forms of adj/adv to their superlatives and comparative levels.
Step 3 Warming up
1. To play a video and lead in the topic—talent show and performer.(2mins)
T: Do you want to relax OK,Let’s watch a video. I think you‘ll enjoy it. Wow. What do you think of the video
Ss: I think it’s unbelievable/magical/excellent/super/great/amazing.
T: What kind of show is that
Ss: Talent show.(达人秀)
T: Do you have a talent show in your school Do you want to be a performer like him (Teach the new word“ performer ” and write it on the board).
2. Now I’ll give you a chance to be a performer. I’d like to divide the whole class into 4 groups. This is Group 1, 2, 3, 4. If your group do a good job, I will give you one star. If your group get the most stars, you’ll be the winner and then get a prize. And here each group choose one egg and hit it. Let’s see what’s in it. (6mins)
3. T: You are really good performers. I am proud of you. So can you say the superlatives of the following adjectives Let’s do it together. (Teach the new word“ creative” and write it on the board). (1mins)
4. 1a Write these words and phrases next to their opposites in the chart.(3mins)
T: Let’s come to our text book on Page 33. Do you know the opposites of the following adjs, please write them down. Have you finished Let’s check the answers directly. Then ask boys to close the books, and girls ask them about the opposites.

Step4 Pre-listening
Background information(3mins)
T: Do you want to see another school’s talent show. Let’s look at 1c in our textbook.
Last weekend, this school had a talent show and many teachers and students joined it. Let’s see what’s the first girl doing (Then read the background information together.)
T: Do you know who they are We need to listen for the names. Here are some names. Who can be a teacher to teach them
Step 5 While-listening
1. Work on 1c:Match the names with the pictures.(2mins)
Strategy instruction: When you listen, you can focus on the key in formation such as upside down, dog, piano and so on. You can also predict. For example, we know here are three people in Picture b, so the Math Teacher must be Picture b. We also know their gender, so it becomes easier for us to finish the task.
2. Work on 1d. (5mins)
T: We always watch talent shows with sharp eyes. We always say yes or no. We have our own ideas. What do people think of the talent shows Can you fill in the chat with adjs I’d like to invite two students to finish on the board.
Strategy instruction: You can write down the first few key letters when you listen to some recordings that go very quickly. Then you complete the answers.
3. To check answers using complete sentences. Then the whole class reads together.
Step 5 Post-listening (5mins)
To make a report using the information in 1c and 1d.
T: In this talent shows, different people show different talents. Imagine that you were the people who watched the show. And I’m a reporter from Sanqiao Middle School. Can you let me know more about the talent show
