一、教学目标
1. 知识目标
(1) 能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意。
(2) 能够在情境中运用句型“Is she in the living room / kitchen... Yes, she is. No, she isn't.”
2. 能力目标
(1) 能够用正确的语音、语调朗读本课对话，并能够进行角色表演。
(2) 能在生活实际中恰当运用所学的语言知识进行交流，提高运用语言的能力。

通过同桌、小组活动，培养学生互相帮助，合作学习的能力。
4. 情感态度目标
通过学习，了解西方国家将宠物当成家庭成员的观念，学会爱护动物，做个有爱心的人。
二、教学重难点
