　　 Can AI Make Doctors Better
　　 What is AI AI (Artificial Intelligence) refers to any human-like intelligence showed by a computer, a robot, or other machines. Today AI plays an important part in our life, especially in the medical field. If AI had helped the doctors do many more important things, it would have saved people more efficiently.
　　 Li Cheng is part of a team of scientists. Li provides information about cancer cells to a computer. He says this data helps the machine learn.

　　Li Cheng researches those things, so does Zhao Qi. He believes that machines are not going to take place of the doctors, but they will help make certain decisions and look for things that the human brain can't recognize these patterns by itself.
　　The form of treatment depends on the kind of cancer. Now researchers take a thin piece of tissue, put it on a small piece of glass and add color to better see the cells. That process could take days or even longer. Zhao Qi says that having a large amount of information about patients is important for a machine to effectively do its job in medicine. Through machine learning, it can recognize complex patterns or structures, and learn how the cells are organized.
