教学过程
◆Step 1 Leading in Play a guessing game. Show some pictures and guess: T:Can you guess what this is S1:It might be a man riding a horse. S2:But it could also be a map of an island.... 设计意图通过课前的一个游戏互动,使学生对所学语法知识进行巩固,为后面的学习做铺垫。
◆Step 2 Reading 3a,3b & 3c Work on 3a 1.Point to the picture and ask students to describe it: (1)What can you see in the picture (2)What can we know about the woman 2.Scan the passage and answer the following questions: (1)Where is the article from (2)What is the passage about (3)What is the strange thing What do the people think of it 3.Make students understand the meaning of the instructions of 3a.( 4.Invite a student to read the passage to the class. 5.Get students to choose the best title and give the reasons. 6.Have the students read the passage again,remind them to find the difficult language points and try to understand them with the help of the other students or the dictionary.Then the whole class have a summary. Work on 3b 1.Read the article again and find words to match the meanings. 2.Check the answers.( Work on 3c 1.Ask students to read 3a together and underline the people who gave opinions in the passage. 2.Get students to finish 3c individually.( 3.Invite some students to tell their answers to the class.If the class doesn't agree with the answers,then read the passage again to find the right answers. 设计意图将读、写的任务结合起来,不仅锻炼了学生的写作能力,还巩固了学生对目标语言的学习及综合运用的能力。

 3.辨析:too,also和either too “也”,用于肯定句,句末。 also “也”,用于肯定句,句中,be动词、情态动词后面,行为动词前。 either“也”,用于否定句,句末。 She is a singer,too.她也是个歌手。 He can also sing the English song.他也可以唱英文歌。 If you don't go to the park,he won't go there,either.如果你不去公园,他也不去。 4.see sb.doing sth.看见某人正在做某事(强调动作正在发生) see sb.do sth.看见某人做某事(强调发生的整个过程) I see Mom cooking in the kitchen. 我看见妈妈正在厨房做饭。 Lucy said she saw me do the housework. 露西说她看见我做家务了。 5.have fun doing sth.做某事玩得愉快 =have a good time doing sth. =enjoy oneself doing sth.
