◆Step 1 Leading in Work on 2a 1.Invite one of the students to read one of the linking words or phrases.All the others try to make sentences with this word or phrase until the whole class understand the meaning and usage of this word or phrase.Then the next word or phrase. 2.Finish 2a. 3.Check the answers.( ◆Step 2 Reading 2b,2c & 2d Work on 2b 1.Play a short video for the students to show something about some mysteries in the world.After the video,get students to talk about something mysterious they know. 2.Read the instructions of the passage.Make sure students understand it. 3.Read the title of the passage to the class.Then ask students:What do you think of Stonehenge Call students' attention to the article. 4.Get students to complete the task individually.As they work,walk around the classroom offering help as needed. 5.Check the answers.( 6.Get students to read the passage again and discuss any words or sentences they don't know with one another.If students fail it,the teacher should help them.
