Make the students feel more curious about the content.Before reading 1. Show the title of the passage: Smile, please! and the picture. Lead the students to predict what the story is about. 2. Structure: Ask the students to divide the passage into 3 parts: the beginning, the body (detailed) and the ending (advice). 2. Content: Divide it into 2 parts: Facts and Advice. 1. Enable the students to have a better understanding of the structure and the content of the passage. 2. Develop the students’ skill of fast reading by reading the time marker and the key wordsCareful reading 1. Task 1: Read paragraph 1 and complete the table quickly. (who, when, where, and what) 2. Task 2: Ask students to read Paragraph 2-3 and answer the questions: 1) When and where did the snake come from 2) How many times did the snake bite him How do you know about it 3. Understand the language style of English articles as well as the British humor.课后反思 本堂课是关于 accidents的阅读课,通过预测图片的内容到猜测文章大意,分析一个事件的开端,过程和结尾(给予建议);解析文本的字里行间的意思,最后让学生理解作者写作诙谐幽默的语言特点。内容方面:本课堂容量比较大,话题难度比较大。时间安排方面比较紧,导致后面写作时间不足。基础薄弱的学生,在 deep thinking方面,很难流利的方式表达出来,学生受惠面不够广。 本节课的不足之处在于教师的课堂评价有待改进。课上教师用到的评价手段不够丰富和准确,主要用到了正确度、流畅度、语言丰富度这几个维度对学生的表现进行评价,不够具体。没有真正落实教学评一体化,在下一次的课堂中,应该增加课堂评价量表,让学生能从客观的师生评价或生生互评中得到思维层次的变化。教师的课堂智慧也应在一次次的课堂实践中得到磨炼和提升。 展开更多...... 收起↑ 资源预览
