The Plastic Bottle Village will show up

This group of North Bergen High School students worked hard for six months to bring Alien(异形）, a science fiction movie, to life on their small stage. We can imagine their excitement when the performance(表演) suddenly brought the Hollywood film star to their side.
Teens at North Bergen High School put together a stage adaption(改编) of Ridley Scott’s great film Alien. Although their school offered them only $3,500 for the play, they greatly succeeded in playing it. The group was made up of 20 students. Their clothes were all made of old materials.

Have you ever tried to hide your emotions (情绪) from someone during a conversation It is not always easy, as the colours on your face may tell the truth. Scientists from college in the USA have found that people are able to tell other people’s emotions from colour changes of their faces.
The scientists studied pictures of people’s facial expressions (面部表情). They have found that every facial expression has a special colour style. For example, happiness makes our faces red around the cheeks and temples (脸颊和太阳穴) and a little blue around the chin. Disgust (厌恶) creates blue--yellow colour around the mouth and a red-green colour around the nose.
“We believe these colour styles are from small changes of blood caused by the central nervous system (中枢神经系统),” scientist Aleix Martinez said. But this idea brings a question: Does the colour alone or also the facial expression help people tell their emotions to others
To work this problem out, scientists added colour styles to pictures of faces without facial expressions. They asked volunteers to tell what emotions the faces were showing. Volunteers could tell most of the emotions exactly.

Millions of people visit Machu Picchu each year. It is an ancient Inca city in the mountains of Peru. Steep steps and rough paths make the trip a challenge. It used to be nearly impossible for people with a physical disability to finish the trip.
Wheel the World has changed that. The company offers wheelchair--accessible(可到达的) tours of Machu Picchu and other places around the world. “Normally, people with disabilities think that these kinds of places are not possible for them,” Camilo Navarro told reporters. He set up Wheel the World with his best friend, Alvaro Silberstein. Silberstein uses a wheelchair.
Navarro and Silberstein started Wheel the World after hiking Torres del Paine in 2016. It is a national park in Chile. Silberstein was the first person to travel the park in a wheelchair. “Our story went popular,” he said. “We started receiving hundreds of requests from people wanting to repeat this trip. ”
Today, Wheel the World runs 40 wheelchair-accessible trips in five countries. The company offers cars and hotels with ramps(斜坡). It directs people to accessible bathrooms. It even teaches local guides to help wheelchair users get around.
Wheel the World uses a special wheelchair for the Machu Picchu trip. It can be pushed like a wheelbarrow(独轮车). It can also be folded up and put into a car easily. “It’s a super strong wheelchair. It allows you to get to every corner in all kinds of places,” Navarro said. “Wherever somebody with a disability wants to go, he or she can get there with that wheelchair. ”
Wheel the World hopes to give people with disabilities the same opportunities as everyone else. “The world hasn’t been planned for people with a disability,” Navarro said. “It’s important to build a fairer and better world. ”

When it comes to the letter grade on your test or homework, you might notice that there is no letter E. Have you ever thought about why that is so
In the A, B,C, D and F grading system, the first four letters are typically considered passing grades. An F in this system stands for “fail”. The word “fail” happens to start with the letter F, which seems to leave out the letter E.
We should point out that E grade actually has been used by a lot of people throughout the history of letter grades in the US. However, many schools decided to drop the E grade and go straight to F. Why do we have letter grades Well, it is possible that they made grading simpler during a time of great change for schools. Today, more and more people argue that letter grades don’t fully show students’ learning. However, as teachers try to improve grading methods, many parents welcome the letter grades they got as kids.
