(M) When Emma left school at the age of eighteen in 2010, her aunt Rose gave her 750 for her birthday. Most of Emma’s friends decided to go to college, but Emma used the money to start her own business. She learned to make dried fruit, sold it to her friends and got more money.
Emma’s parents hoped that one day she could be a doctor. But Emma wasn’t interested in medicine. In 2011, she kept on making dried fruit. After a few months, Emma opened a small shop and started selling dried fruit to the local supermarkets. She even started making popcorn and sold it to the local cinemas.
After four years, her business had grown to 15 shops. She made more kinds of snacks and sold them to local amusement parks. She was so busy that she needed more people to work for her. At the end of 2015, she had got 100 workers. It was the biggest success for her.

One possible version:
There are many practical learning activities in our school’s English class. Recently, the English club of our school has made a survey on students’ favourite English class activities. Here are the results.
About one third of the students say presentation is their favourite. The number of students who choose discussion and creative writing is almost the same, taking up 26% and 25% each. Only 16% of the students prefer debate because they think it helps develop independent thinking.
As far as I am concerned, presentation is the most useful. On the one hand, I am able to learn a lot while preparing for it. On the other hand, it helps me improve my spoken English as well as communication skills.
English class activities are important for us, so we’d better make good use of them to make English learning more interesting and colorful.
