Analysis on learners As a new style in the college entrance examination, continuation writing mainly aims to examine students’ comprehensive skills, like the ability of using language. However, as for students whose English is poor, continuation writing is so difficult that some of them choose to skip it. So, learning some micro skills for continuation writing is essential, especially some ways to describe emotions and actions.
Teaching objectives At the end of this lesson, Students will be able 1. to develop writing skills: use advanced words or sentence patterns correctly in writing. 2. to train students’ skills on describing different kinds of emotions vividly in continuation writing. 3. improve students’ abilities of using language.
Teaching key and difficult points Chinglish is so common in students’ writing, teaching students using English sentence patterns in writing is important. Use what they have learned correctly to improve their writing abilities.
