Many people like to travel during their vacation. Some people travel in tour groups because they think it is safe and cheap. A tour guide takes care of the group and makes sure the group can see a lot of interesting and beautiful sights. Other people like traveling alone (独自地) or with friends. If you travel by yourself, you are free to see what you want to see.
People travel for many reasons. Some people travel to learn more about other countries' people, culture, food and languages. Some people travel for adventure (冒险). At 3:00 a. m., most people are still sleeping. But Jiang Airong and some volunteers (志愿者) are busy making free breakfast in her porridge restaurant.
Jiang Airong opened the first freeporridge restaurant in Zhengzhou in 2013. After seeing the sanitation workers (环卫工人) working hard on cold mornings but only having very simple breakfasts, Jiang wanted to help them. She heard that in some places there were free porridge restaurants for people in need. She thought it was a good way to help and then started one in Zhengzhou with some volunteers.
At first, people were doubtful (怀疑的) about the restaurant, but Jiang and the volunteers still worked hard to help. As time goes on, more and more people know about the free porridge restaurant and come here every morning.
