教学过程
◆Step 1　Revision Show some adjectives or adverbs.Find out the comparative degree of adjectives and adverbs in the left column.( ◆Step 2　Work on Grammar Focus 1.Let Ss read the sentences in the Grammar Focus and underline the adjectives and circle the adverbs. 2.Summary.( 设计意图进一步熟悉比较级的用法。
◆Step 3　Work on 3a 1.Make students complete the tasks individually. 2.Choose some answers. 3.Check the answers.( ◆Step 4　Work on 3b 1.Ask Ss to think of himself/herself two years ago.Write about how they are different now. 2.Give an example: T:S1,are you taller now S1:Yes,I am.I'm taller than I was two years ago. T:Pay attention to the tense of the sentence “I was two years ago.” 3.Ss work by themselves.Read the sentences in 3b and answer the other four sentences. 4.Check the answers with the class.( ◆Step 5　Work on 3c 1.Tell Ss to read the chart in 3c first.Make sure they know the meaning of the words in the chart.
