human n.人。其复数形式为humans。
【辨析】person泛指一切人,包括男女老幼,既有单数,也有复数形式。people意为“人,人们,人民”, 可用some,many等修饰。表示复数意义。people 在句中用作主语时,谓语动词为复数形式。 people 在俗语中还作“家人,亲属”解。

【解读】try to do sth.意为“尽力去做某事”，侧重尽力，为了达到目的而努力。也可以说成try one’s best to do sth.。try doing sth.意为“尝试做某事”，只是一种尝试，并没有一定明显的目的性。
make sb.do sth.使某人做某事。使役动词make和see,hear,listen to,look at,watch,notice 等感官动词都接不带to的不定式作宾补。help后可带to,也可不带to。

点拨 (1) agree 做动词，意为“同意，赞成，应允”。反义词disgree,意为“不同意，持不同意见，有分歧”。常见的用法有：agree with sb. “同意某人的意见”; agree to do sth. “同意做某事”；agree on sth“就...达成一致意见” ；agree to sth. “同意某事”。
点拨 (2) hundred 作数词，意为“一百”。在表示具体数字时，hundred后不加-s,也不与of连用；若表示成百时，前面不可加数字，后要加-s且要与of连用；hundreds of 意为“许多；大量”。
注意：类似用法的词有：thousand, million, billion等。
