In most countries, turning 18 marks the start of adulthood.。 But what does reaching this milestone, the age of majority, really mean 本句中作者没有重复使用上文中出现过的turning 18,用另外一种表达reaching this milestone进行回指。 Will you be completely in charge of your own life ...
What new responsibilities will this freedom bring 依然是问句,this freedom言简意赅地概括了第三句中be completely in charge of your own life and able to express yourself in new and exciting ways。
最后一句承上启下,what turning 18 means, or meant回指上一句中的new responsibilities,引出了下文三位年轻人的观点。
