Students guess which railway the song mentions. 3.Finish the learning material设计意图 (简要说明教学环节、学习活动等,组织与实施意图,说明活动对目标达成和学生发展的意义,说明如何在活动中达成目标,关注课堂互动的层次与深度) 1.To input the background knowledge 2.To arouse interest in the topic. 3.To clear the reading barrier. 4.课前,给学生布置微项目任务,以小组合作的形式,搜集西藏的地理、气候、人文等背景资料,指导学生能够在完成任务的过程中主动了解西藏、青藏铁路的相关信息,能够更容易的读懂课文。在课上的课前任务展示环节中,学生能够以 PPT 图片的形式用英语生动的展示准备的资料,既训练了学生的语言组织和表达能力,也使学生感受到完成任务的成就感,调动了学生的英语学习积极性,使枯燥的课堂环节变得生动。 5.学生课前背诵课文相关词汇,清除阅读障碍。3.通过欣赏歌曲和观看图片吸引学生的注意,调动背景知识,引起学生对话题的兴趣,导入新课。环节二:Before-reading教师活动Leading-in (1 mins) 1.Show a series of beautiful photos of Tibet and ask students if they want to pay a visit. 2.Ask a group of students to show the location and population of Tibet on the PPT. Let students know that Tibet is an important part of China. China determine to build a railway to Tibet. 3.Lead students to sense the feelings of the author when he was on the sky railway. And ask: Why did the author have such feelings 4.Let a group of students show the climate and topography of Tibet on the PPT. Tell students it is difficult to build a railway to Tibet. 5.Show the “design diary” of the designers, letting the students follow the steps of the designer to know how they, step by step, change “impossible” railway into “possible” 学生活动 1.Students follow the instructions of the teacher and answer questions together. 2.One group of students introduce the location and population of Tibet on the PPT. 3.One group of students introduce the climate and topography of Tibet on the PPT设计意图 1.To lead the students step into the topic, letting students know why it is difficult to build Qinghai-Tibet Railway. 2.Create a vivid atmosphere, letting students follow the step of the designers to make clear how they overcome each difficulties step by step and make the final success. 3.学生展示自己的微项目学习成果:学生使用 PPT 图片用英语介绍西藏的location、population、climate和 topography等基本信息,拓展学生的思维,引导和激发学生进一步思考环节三:While-reading教师活动Activity 1 (Input) Ask students to read the whole passage quickly and locate key stations on the map and get to know the author’s purpose. 学生活动 Students read and locate key stations on the map.设计意图 To get students to acquire the general impression of the railway and impress the route in mindActivity 2 (Input) Ask students to read Para 1-2 and find out what was among the top concerns. Students read Para 1-2, finding the answer “the delicate ecosystem”.设计意图 To let students aware the importance of protecting the ecosystem.使学生意识到保护环境、保护生态环境的重要性。Activity 3 (Input) 1.Ask students to read Para 3-6 to know the challenges and the solutions during the construction of the railway. 2.Help students understand the words “permafrost” “oxygen-making station”, “passages” by illustrating or paraphrasing. 3.Showthe pictures about the animals, the wetlands, the lake and the railway staying together in harmony, aiming to guide students to get a deep impression of the solution. Students read Para 3-6 to know the challenges and the solutions during the construction of the railway. Students understand some difficult points with the help of pictures.设计意图 1.To guide students to get detail information about the challenges and solutions during the construction. 2.To get students deeply impressed by the solutions and understand the efforts the builders have made. 深入理解文章内容,通过回答文章的细节性问题,使学生感受青藏铁路的修建之不易。Activity 4(Input) Show a video, and ask students to think about: Since there were so many challenges, why did we still build the sky railway What are the benefits of building the Qinghai-Tibet Railway 1.Enjoy a video. 2.Work with your deskmate to try to answer the questions.设计意图引导学生开展合作学习和探究式学习,提升沟通协作能力和英语语言输出能力。明确作者的写作意图,明确 Chinese 遇到挑战迎难而上、绝不退缩的精神,激发民族自豪感,同时加深对人与自然和谐共处这一理念的认识。环节四:Post-reading Activity (Output) Group work——Interview Let students make a role play. Students are divided into groups. Group members play the role of interviewer, the passengers and local Tibetan. Interviewers are required to interview the passengers and local Tibetans. Make a role play in groups. Practice and show in class.设计意图 锻炼学生勇敢展现自我,强化团队精神,进行语言输出训练的同时,该环节是对课文内容进行进一步的延伸和提高,在真实语境中运用所学知识,实现知识和思维能力的拓展与迁移。环节五:Summary and sublimate 1.Show pictures of China’s other extraordinary projects, such as Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and Huoshenshan Hospital, which represent China’s power and China’s wisdom. Tell students “With China’s power and wisdom, we Chinese can overcome all the difficulties” “To Chinese people, nothing is impossible. 2.Ask students “Do you feel lucky living in this country ” “We are proud to be Chinese.” 3.Let students say “China, I am proud of you!” together. 1.Appreciate other extraordinary projects that Chinese completed, such as Huoshenshan Hospital. 2.Answer the questions.3.Say “China, I am proud of you!” together.设计意图 To sublimate the theme, and deepen students’ sense of pride and love upon our country.梳理并总结本课所学知识,进一步激发学生的爱国情怀,激发学生的民族自豪感,也使学生进一步体会人类在建设发展的同时一定要保护环境、滋养自然的主题思想。五、作业与拓展 预计完成时间(30minutes) 1.As a student,what can you do to make China great Write an article. 2.Search the internet to learn more about the Qinghai-Tibet Railway and some other extraordinary projects in our country and think about what benefits they have brought to us. 设计意图 1.To let students hold the awareness that they all can contribute to China’s development by doing something within their power. 2.To get more knowledge on China’s extraordinary projects. 引导学生联系自身实际,锻炼学生的写作技巧,鼓励学生拓展思维,进一步延伸主题语境,探究单元主题意义。六、板书设计The Sky Railway impossible possible excited unbelievable proud harmony课后反思 在本节课的实际教学中,我完成了本课的教学目标和教学内容,完成了教案中所设计的各项活动和任务。通过这节课教学我有许多新的感受、新的想法。首先,依据“新课标”的要求,我在本课的教学中运用体验、实践、参与、合作与交流为主导的学习方式,采用任务型的教学途径。在实际教学中,我真实地感受到同学们的轻松与快乐。语言学习对同学们来说不再是死记硬背的煎熬,而是多种多样的有趣的活动参与和丰富的学习体验。在实践活动中,语言成为一种必不可少的交流工具。看到同学们兴致勃勃地参与和交流,我为同学们多方面能力的发展而骄傲。在这节课的准备和实际教学中,我也深深地感受到了新的课程标准对教师提出的新的要求。新课程标准所提倡的教学模式还对教师的语言素质、知识水平提出了更高的要求,教师必须勤于思索,设计出巧妙的教学活动,创设真实的语言情境,才能驾御新课程标准要求下新的语言课堂教学。本节课是英语微项目化教学的一次尝试。教学模式上的创新,不仅提高了学生的学习兴趣,促进了学生的课下自主学习能力的提升和对英语知识的实践和运用。另外,在小组活动的采访表演中,学生们争先恐后的扮演自己喜欢的角色。在小组展示中,学生们也都跃跃欲试,使我感受到孩子们在学习中表现出的快乐。本课的不足之处是在读后部分的处理上,时间略显仓促。学生讨论部分准备不足,学生活动展示不够充分。在以后的教学活动中我会多给学生们展示的机会,让更多的孩子在英语课堂中展现自己的风采。 展开更多...... 收起↑ 资源预览
