Time is fleeting but history is long. In the flowing stream of history, one figure stands out with his excellence - Dengxiaoping.
Deng, an advanced member of the communist party, has one of the most pivotal leaders in China during the last century. Equipped with exceptional intelligence and insight, it was he who launched the ground-breaking reform and opening in 1978, fueling China’s rapid and astounding development. For the sake of altogether prosperity, he had also delivered life essentials to guarantee the living of country dwellers.
With his consistent endeavors, China now boasts not only substantial wealth, but also a high global status. Simultaneously, under his guidance, we’re able to catch up with the trend of the information age, which massively facilities our life.
Words fail to convey our gratitude to the greatest, Mr. Deng.

It goes without doubt that there’s a series of great figures in the 5000-year-history. But who I want to write about is Kongzi.
Kongzi, a splendid philosopher, is the beginner of Ru. He spreaded his idea of governing country from country to country. As a result, it was in the Han dynasty that his idea had become the main philosophy that influenced from generation to generation. Even until today that the idea of harmony still have an effect on everyone.
The meaning of Kongzi is more than a philosopher but a symbol of traditional Chinese culture. It is Ru that makes every Chinese a peace lover and warm-hearted and lets our society harmonious.
What I have learned from him most is to be kind to everyone and live in harmony with nature, respecting our parents. All in all, it is keeping learning from everything in life that benefits me most.
Kongzi, not only a philosopher, but also a star that light the sky of China.

Countless people left their names in Chinese history. Among them, I admire Quyuan most, who’s absolutely a shining star both in politics and literature.
Qu was born in a era which was called Zhaoguo afterwards. Countries fought against each other constantly and only powerful ones had the rights to survive. Qu got a high position and determined to strengthen his motherland. Thus, he devoted all his intelligence, sweat and ambition to put forward the revolution. In spite of his selfless efforts, no one followed him because of the dark political atmosphere. When facing the threat from western Qing country. Qu couldn’t tolerate to see people’s sufferings. He finally chose to jump into a river to suicide.
There’s no war nowadays, but what we can learn from Quyuan is not only his loyalty to his motherland but also his love and caring to ordinary people. Qu’s spirits remain forever.

With a long history more than 5000 years, it goes without doubt that there are many established historical figures in China. Among them, Su shi is a bright star.
Su shi is one of the greatest poets in the history of China. What’s more, he also excel at painting and cooking. He was born in Song Dynasty, and showed excellent talents when he was young. Aiming at realizing his dream in politics, he never failed to inspire himself in times of difficulty, which laid the solid foundation for his remarkable achievements in literature. During his life, he was also obsessed with painting and cooking, leaving previous heritage for us.
What we learn from Su shi is that we should hold the passion for life and keep a tough will to overcome the hardship the spirit of Su shi is treasure for Chinese and we should pass on it to the world.

Looking back at the history of China, there were countless people that made big influence on China’s history. The person i admire most is Maozedong.
Maozedong, borned in Hunan, was the leader of China. He loved reading in his early age and had many creative ideas in his head. As he growed older, he used his ability of leading, making big progress and lead people to success.
Without his effort being made during his lifetime, China nowadays will not be so strong that can become the biggest developing country in the world.
Thanks to him and his spirits will leading us go further and further.

Dufu was a famous person in the mid Tang Dynasty. Du was lived when the country was going to die. It goes without doubt that Du had a sharp eye to see the problems behind the splendid scene. So he used his pen to express his thought and wanted to save this country. He had written almost 300 poems. Each of them could give us a strong feeling of life and the kindness to ordinary people.
Dufu rewards the greatest frame in China. Every Chinese uses their own way to respect this extraordinary poet. What we should learn from Du is that we need to devote ourselves into people's work and always be heart-warming to the people around you. Never be afraid of difficulties is Du used his life to tell us. Inspired by Du's spirit, we all need to do our part in our community.

There are a large quant of people along the history of China. Among all, Dufu is my favorite.
Dufu is a poet who lived in Tang dynasty. As being a part of government is vital for people at that time, he tried his best and succeed. However, as the old saying said, life is all about unexpectations. He was charged by others. And without doubt, he was sent to Chengdu, a poor city at that time. Formulately, he didn't give up and keep creating poems. It's in Chengdu that he wrote the famous poem called MaoWuWeiQiuFengSuoPoGe.
From my perspective, Dufu is not only a poet but also a fighter. He face those difficulties directly and win our respect. As a teenager, I've learned from him that failure is not terrible and facing the failure is our best weapon.
Don't be scaried and walk to the bright future!
