人教版英语七年级上册第七单元牵涉到基数词表示数量、价格，八单元开始，涉及到序数词表示日期。由于涉及的单词多，加上表示数字的有些单词比较长，学生们掌握起来有一定的难度。接下来，我们就来整理一下。
关于基数词和序数词的概念：
基数词：表示数目的词成为基数词。例如：one一 ; two二 ; three三 ; four 四; five五
序数词：表示顺序的数词，表示“第...”。例如：first第一 ; second 第二; third 第三; fourth 第四; fifth第五.
基数词的构成规律：
、从1-10 one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
、从11-19 eleven , twelve , thirteen , fourteen , fifteen , sixteen , seventeen , eighteen ; nineteen这里除 eleven， twelve， thirteen , fifteen，eighteen为特殊形式外，fourteen，sixteen，seventeen, nineteen都是由其个位数形式后添加后缀-teen构成。
、从 20-99 整数几十中除twenty,thirty, forty，fifty,eighty为特殊形式外，sixty，seventy，ninety都是其个位数形式后添加后缀-ty构成。表示几十几时，在几十和个位基数词形式之间添加连字符“-” 例如：21 twenty-one 76 seventy-six
序数词的构成规律：
序数词可以由基数词变过来，具体规则是：基数词变序数词，加上th就好使；八去t，九减e，ve（结尾）要用f替；遇到y（结尾）变ie；若是遇到几十几，只变个位就可以；一、二、三特殊记，一、二、三尾t, d , d。（one- first ; two - second ; three-third）
接下来，我们将1-31的基数词全部列出来，同学们根据规则将其对应的序数词变出来。
基数词1-31：

结合规律，我们以记少不记多的原则来演示一下，如何1-31的基数词变为序数词。
根据“基数词变序数词，加上th就好使；八去t，九减e”，可以由eight八、nine九变出“eighth第八”、“ninth第九”。
根据“基数词变序数词，加上th就好使；ve（结尾）要用f替”，可以由five五、twelve十二变出“fifth第五”、“twelfth第十二”。
根据“基数词变序数词，加上th就好使；遇到y（结尾）变ie“，可以由twenty二十、thirty三十变出”twentieth第二十“、”thirtieth第三十“。
根据“一、二、三特殊记，一、二、三尾t, d , d。（one- first ; two - second ; three-third）”，可以得出one一、two二、three三对应的序数词：first 第一；second第二；third第三。
根据”基数词变序数词，加上th就好使“以及若是遇到几十几，只变个位就可以”可以得出21-29 、31中的比较特殊的序数词，分别是twenty-first第二十一；twenty-second第二十二；twenty-third第二十三；twenty-fifth第二十五；twenty-eighth第二十八；twenty-ninth第二十九；thirty-first第三十一。
其余的基数词表序数词，只需要根据规则在后面加上th即可。

基数词。

表示数量，例如：I need two pairs of blue socks. 我需要两双蓝色的袜子。
表示年龄，例如：I am twelve years old .我十二岁。My sister is ten years old. 我的妹妹十岁。The boy is thirteen years old. 这个男孩十三岁。
表示班级年级等，例如：I’m in Class One , Grade Seven. 我在七年级一班。
表示电话号码，例如：My phone number is 123456789. 我的电话号码是123456789.
序数词。
表示顺序，例如：He got the first prize in the game. 他在比赛中得了第一名。
表示日期，例如：My birthday is on March 9th. 我的生日是在三月九号。
表示“第...”这个概念，例如：The boy is 13 years old , next month is his fourteenth birthday. 这个男孩十三岁，下个月是他的十四岁生日。
