Mike went to a mountain village for his holiday. One night, he stayed at a small hotel near a train station. Mike took the clock happily. But when he looked at it carefully, there appeared to be something wrong with it. “Does it ring on time ” he asked the old man. “Sure! Just shake it when it’s time to get up, and it will ring.”

Hello, everyone. I am Chris. Today I’m going to tell you something on how to become a successful learner.
First, create an interest in what you learn. If you are interested in something, it is easier to pay attention to it for a long time. You should often connect what you need to learn with something interesting. For xample, if you need to learn English and you like music, you can listen to English songs. You will not get bored.
Second, develop your study skills. You should know the best way you can study. For example, you may take notes by writing down key words or by drawing mind maps. You should also review what you have learned by explaining the information to another student.
Third, ask questions. Knowledge comes from questioning and you should often ask questions during or after class. You’d better ask each other and try to find out the answers.
I hope these tips are helpful for you to become a successful learner.
