1）buy用作动词，意为“买”，其反义词为sell，常用短语为：buy sb. sth./buy sth. for sb.
意为“给某人买某物”。

（= Let’s buy a new sweater for mom.）

2）clothes指身上穿的各种服装，包括上衣，内衣，裤子等，是衣服的总称。它不能直接与数词连用，但可以与some, many, these或those等连用。

3）sale是动词sell的名词形式，常用短语：
on sale，意为“出售；廉价出售”，
其同义短语为at a great sale。
