教材分析 What：The text is a conversation between Frank and Bob talking about their favorite the school day subjects and the reasons. Why：The dialogue provides context for grammar learning of “who”, “what”, “why” question which can help students deepen their understanding the usage of wh-question. How：This dialogue uses three wh-question, which is conducive to the learning of special questions. At the same time, the author also introduces compound sentences “I think ...” to gradually improve students' reading level.
教学目标 By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: 语言能力：(1) master the following words: Monday, Friday, Saturday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday (2) master the following sentence patterns: ①-Why do you like P. E. -Because it’s fun. ②-Who's your P.E. teacher -Mr. Hu. ③-When is your geography class -It’s on Friday. (3) master the usage of special questions; Master the use of what, when, why, who. 2. 学习能力: master the use of question words when,why, who, what. Actively cooperate with classmates to participate in dialogue exercises in part 3c to improve my listening and speaking ability. 3. 文化意识： know the tips of the week; cultivate the subject interest, broaden the horizon, reasonable arrangement of their study time 4. 思维品质：find and summarize the special question sentence structure, and exercise our ability of observation and discrimination through careful observation and comparison; improve your ability to innovate and integrate resources when creating example sentences.

Lead in (3’)

Presentation (15’)
Step 2 T asks Ss to watch the video and answer the following question: "What are they talking about " T watch the video and answer the question. It can lead Ss to the topic of today’s learning.
Step 3 T teaches Ss the pronunciation of the week. Then, T tells Ss the knowledge of the week and abbreviations Ss learn the the pronunciation of the week and knowledge of the week and abbreviations Learning the week can help Ss read the conversation more smoothly.
Step 4 T asks Ss to read conversation and lets them answer the following tasks: Fill in the blanks. Answer the questions. Who is Bob’s P.E. teacher How does Bob think of history Ss read conversation and answer the questions. Conversations in 2d provides a good context for grammar learning so reading them can help Ss firstly know the grammar rules or phenomena and also improve their reading ability.
Step 5 T: “How do we ask other’s age in English ” T asks Ss to find the answer in the conversation , then shows them the knowledge of it. Ss find the answer in the conversation and learn the knowledge of it. It helps Ss to learn the sentence patter of how old in a context.

Practice (10’)
Step 8 T asks Ss to finish the exercises in textbook-3a & 3b and then ask Ss to practice the conversations with the desk mates and invites some of Ss to show their results. Ss finish the exercises and then practice the conversations with the desk mates and actively show their results in front of the whole class. Exercise can help test students' knowledge of this class. Then Practicing conversation can strengthen their ability of speaking and listening. Showing can improve Ss’ confidence in speaking English

Production (8’)
Step 9 T asks Ss to finish the task in 3c with partners by using the knowledge that have been learned today and invites some of Ss to show their results. Ss finish the task in 3c in groups and show their results in front of the whole class. It can enhance Ss’ controlling of today’s knowledge. And the group work can help Ss to improve their communicating ability and their cooperative spirit of group.

Step 11 T gives a mind map about what are learned today. Ss recall the learned knowledge of today. Mind map and summary of new knowledge can help students further understand and remember them.
