教材分析 What：The text is a short dialogue between Eric and David talking about their favorite subjects and the reason why they like it and the arrangement of subjects. Why：Let students know how to rightly express the reasons of their favorite subjects and know how to manage time properly. How：The dialogue concludes many sentence patterns of when, what , which conducive to training students' familiarity with this sentence pattern and listening ability.
教学目标 By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: 语言能力： (1) have the following words: boring, difficult, busy, easy, interesting, fun, free, cool. (2) can master the following sentence patterns: -Why do you like P. E. -Because it’s fun. -Who’s your P.E. teacher -Mr. Hu. -When is your geography class -It’s on Friday. 学习能力: （1）listen to the recording for many times to get the activities that Eric and David talk about the subjects in the recording and the schedule of the them, so as to improve my listening and speaking ability. (2) actively cooperate with partners to practice dialogues, cultivate the fun of learning English, and improve the confidence of speaking English. 文化意识: cultivate the subject interest, broaden the horizon, establish a sense of time and be able to arrange all kinds of learning in a reasonable and orderly manner. 思维品质：improve discrimination ability and improve the ability to obtain information.

Step 1 T shows Ss a video about weeks and asks them to read it after the video. Ss watch a video and read the words after the video. It can provide a good review for Ss in memorizing words of weeks.

Pre-listening (10’)
Step 2 T teaches Ss the expressions for various activities T asks Ss to guess the adjectives through pictures. T leads Ss read the words and expressions and make corrections when necessary T plays the game of 击鼓传花 to consolidate the words. T asks Ss to finish 1a T asks Ss complete the following dialogue with the words in Part 1a. Ss learn English expressions for various activities (1) guess the adjectives through pictures (2) learn how the teacher pronounces the words and read after the teacher. (3) play a game (4) complete Part 1a (5) complete the following dialogue 1a can help Ss strengthen the new words and let them control the pronunciation of the activities.

While-listening (15’)
Step 3 T plays the recording in 1c for the first time to ask Ss to finish 1c and the second time to ask Ss to finish 1d Ss listen to the record two times, finishing 1c and 1d. It can help Ss improve their ability of listening.
Step 4 T plays the recording for the second time to complete the conversation. Ss complete the conversation. It can further help Ss improve their ability of listening.
Step 5 T asks them read it after the tape and imitate the tone and pronunciation. Ss read and try to imitate the tone and pronunciation of the it. It can help Ss improve their ability of listening. Imitation and repeating can strengthen their tone and pronunciation .

Post-listening (10’)
Step 6 T asks Ss to design their dream course schedule and report it using the sentence structures given below. Notes: I have... on... My favorite subject is/ are ... Because I think it is.... My favorite school day is... Because.... Ss design their dream course schedule and report it using the sentence structures given below. The task can improve their ability of creation and practice their understanding of the sentence patterns.

Exercises (5’)
Step 7 T asks Ss to finish the exercises on ppt. Ss finish the exercises on ppt. Practice in time can help test students' knowledge of this class.

Conclusion (2’)
Step 8 T gives a mind map about what are learned today. Ss recall the learned knowledge of today. Mind map and summary of new knowledge can help students further understand and remember them.

Homework (1’) Copy the words five times. Practice the conversation in 1c with your desk mate after class. Homework can help students strengthen the knowledge which they have learned.
