主句
本句是含if引导的条件状语从句的复合句，主句用一般将来时，从句则用一般现在时表将来。
2. Half the class won’t come.
(1) half在此处作形容词，意为“一半的”。
half 的用法
Half the time has gone. 时间已经过去了一半。
Half of the apples are rotten. 这些苹果有一半腐烂了。
Half of his land is covered with trees. 他的地有一半长着树。
(2) half of 意为“一半的……”，后接名词或代词。half of… 作主语时，谓语动词与其后的名词或代词的数保持一致。

(1) organize 作及物动词，其宾语通常为聚会、活动等。

too…to…结构中too为副词，其后跟形容词或副词原级， to为不定式符号，后接动词原形。

【特别提醒】too…to…结构中too 前有含有否定意义的词（如never) 时，表达肯定意义。

too … to … 太……而不能……
【拓展】 too… to… 结构可以与so… that…（如此……以至于……）结构互换。
