教学过程：
一、Pre-class
1. Greeting
2. Leading-in
Please read the page about the Terracotta Army from a travel brochure and tell us what amazes you most.
二、While- class
1. Let students think about the following questions.
(2) Q2: In what person is this brochure written What effect does it achieve
(3) Q3:Have you noticed anything special about the words that are used What do they make you feel
2.Share with your partners what you discovered about the content and writing skills of a travel brochure. Each group will have a representative to give a report to the class.　
(1) Q1:What have you found Can you offer us an example
(2) Q2:What effect does it achieve Will you use this technique when you are writing a brochure for your hometown
(3) Q3: Is there any way the brochure can be improved Do you have a suggestions Make a conclusion of the writing tips of a travel brochure.

Try to complete a composition and discuss it with your partner.
题目要求：
假定你是英国的Jack，打算来中国旅行，请你给你的中国笔友李华写封信，要点如下：
1.你的旅行计划：北京→泰山→杭州；
2.征求他的建议并询问他是否愿意充当你的导游。
