【词汇用法】
advice （1）v.订购，订货，点菜
advice相当于汉语“建议；劝告”的意思，是不可数名词，故不可添加复数词尾-s!
表示“一条建议；一则忠告” 应说a piece of advice
Now you can give me some advice.现在你可以给我一些忠告。
There are three pieces of advice.有三条建议。
be famous for 因...而著名
be famous as+职业 作为...而出名
be famous to+sb. 为...所熟知
Mo Yan is famous as a writer.
Chair Xi is famous to people around the world.
Beijing is famous for the Great Wall.
travel around the world
travel v. 旅行；游历
（1）travel在此处作动词，其过去式为traveled或travelled。“travel to + 地点”表示“去某地旅行”。
They traveled to California for the wedding.
（2）travel还可作名词，意为“旅行；游历”。常作不可数名词。
After years of travel, we decided to live here.
（3）traveler n. 游客；旅行者
Lots of travelers come and go here.
辨析travel，tour，journey与trip
(1)travel既可用作动词也可用作名词。用作名词时泛指一般意义上的旅行，是不可数名词，常指长时间、远距离的“旅行”，尤指出国旅行。
如：Her father is fond of travel. 她的父亲喜欢旅行。
(2)tour既可用作动词也可用作名词，特指线路比较曲折，常表示“(周游各地的)参观，访问，(巡回)旅游，视察，购物，演出”等。
如：I will tour the world when I grow up.当我长大时，我要周游世界。
(3)journey指远距离的陆地旅行，并且不一定要返回到出发点(即单程)。
如：Wish you a pleasant journey！祝你旅途愉快！
(4)trip通常指近距离的为了办事或消遣而进行的旅行。
如：Miss Li is on a trip to Qingdao.李小姐在去青岛的旅途中。
【重点句型】
If you join the Lions, you’ll travel around the world.
如果你参加了狮子队，你将环游世界。
around the world 意为“在世界各地”，相当于all over the world。around在此处为介词，意为“在……附近，在……范围内，环绕”。
如：我们每天早上都绕着操场跑步。We run around the playground every morning.
around还有副词词性，意为“大约；周围”。如：他大约是五点钟到的。
He arrived around five o’clock.

我觉得你应该上大学。
go to college意为“上大学”（注意该搭配中不需要冠词）。
如：我爸爸想让我上大学。My father wants me to go to college.
拓展：去上学go to school 去上班go to work 上床睡觉go to bed
3.If you work really hard, you’ll be famous. 如果你非常努力工作，你就会出名。
famous的同义词是well-known。
be famous for意为“以..而著名”。
如：法国以精美的食物和葡萄酒而著名。France is famous for mine
be famous as意为“作为…而出名”。
如：她是位著名的作家。She is famous as a writer。

travel 词性动词 词义旅行 过去式traveled, travelled
短语：travel to +地点 去某地旅行
travel 也可做名词, 词义旅行，游历 且为不可数名词
traveler n.旅行者，游客 相当于vistor, tourist
5.What do you think I should do 你认为我应该干什么？
should为情态动词，意为“应该；应当”，后接动词原形，无人称和数的变化。常用来表示征询意见、建议、劝告、要求和义务等。
（1）should 意为“应该”，表示劝告或建议。
You should stop playing computer games. 你应该停止玩电脑游戏。
（2）should 表示要求或命令。
You shouldn’t fight with your classmate. 你不应该和同学打架。
（3）should表示预测或可能。
His schoolbag should be in the classroom. 他的书包可能在教室里。
（4）should 有时表示说话人的感情，如惊讶、愤怒、失望等。
